This is what I am dealing with. He has no clue what he is doing or talking about and his first legal counsel has dropped him only to have him double down and try to restart everything a second time with a new lawyer but with claiming things are different than what he started with that made his first lawyer tell him to go find someone else.
The new lawyer is clearly running with a whole new largely made-up narrative than what his opening lawsuit was built on despite the lawsuit itself is still the same frivolous one with all the original evidence still in play, and it has become suspect that the second lawyer never got the full story or copies of what his first one had done and said to him and why despite it having been already made legal record for the case.
To date the landlord has refused mediation, despite his first legal counsel and the assigned judge having heavily suggested to.
Has racked up loads of evidence against himself in regards to harassment, assault, attempted extortion, theft caught on camera, used very obvious self-help eviction actions, denial of utility service, multiple interactions with local law enforcement telling him to leave the tenant alone, made multiple false complaints/reports to local, state and possible federal regulatory agencies,
Has now in discovery and depositions revealed that he has likely been using the tenants and their personal property as large tax write-offs they knew nothing about plus for possible bank loans they/the property they are on were not a part of either,
Has shown he uses highly questionable accounting practices, and bookkeeping and rarely shows the complete and accurate contexts of whatever he submits for evidence against the tenants regardless of whether it is evidence that has already been submitted or not.
According to him, it's the tenant doing all these things despite all evidence submitted by both parties clearly showing otherwise. He's a real piece of work.

I'd ask my attorney partner to restrain me from tackling our client if he started saying what that man did. Oooh, sh*t 😆 🤷🚔🚓👮‍♂️

Other times.. tenants threatening to kill co- tenants…. Judge doesn’t care either…. I FINALLY have what seems to be a viable system/solution to these horrific by-room evictions

I shall be evicting a tenant because of two years of mostly late payments and lying. Sent 60 day notice to advise not renewing lease. The tenant has continued to remain, have paid late. Have gave them a 3 day notice, as well as 15 notice.

I also don't like when clients shake their heads angrily at whatever the person talking says (pleeease stop that lol)

I always give clients "the talk" before we go into the courtroom, but it doesn't always work.

Your subjective reasoning is _not_ superior to the law, no matter how arrogant you are or how long you've gotten away with it! I'm currently dealing with a landlord (slumlord) who is like this.
