There is a stigma in the black community about therapy, and taking psychiatric medication and it's complete bullshit. Everyone has traumas and mature people address them in therapy and sometimes with medication. That's the best way to go about it. Not by self medicating with alchol, drugs, sex, bad behavior, and bad friends that condone the bullshit that goes on around them.
