@@Pandizzo First see how many days you have left until the examination. Suppose you have 6 months until the exam. In the first the months try covering up the chapters and Syllabus. Don't worry if you can't cover the entire textbook in the first three months. Secondly do Past Papers. Start from 2020 till 2015. Don't just do the papers instead mark the mistakes you have. See the Marking Scheme and note down the answers in your notes book/ register. Learn the specific key ideas and SCIENTIFIC TERMS*. Print the past paper at home and do it by placing a timer next to you. I don't got to any schools because I am a private student that's why I have more time to concentrate on my studies. Lastly watch video like these. Pause the video, before she says the answers you say it first so you would know your weak points and what to add to yourself. And when there is only 1 week left before the exam go through your notes! If you want my BONUS TIP* then go to this website. After you finish one chapter do the Topic Questions and you will be really IMPRESSED by your marks!!!: www.savemyexams.co.uk/igcse/
Oh do you mean by when you wanna label the scale of y-axis? The scale for this question is 1 big square=5 (stated in the mark scheme). If you mean you wanna label in between the big squares, that's fine, you just need to make sure the scale is 1 big box=5🙂
Hi I have my exams in the coming week(s) I haven't taken a lot of past papers throughout the course however I feel my knowledge in the sciences is sufficient to get an A^* do I still have enough time to practice or am I doomed?
Hey there's too little information for me to give you an advice. What's your idea of "sufficient knowledge to get A*"? How much do you usually get in school exams? Have you marked the past papers you've done before? How much do you score when you do past papers? Knowledge is important for past papers but the main thing they test you on is whether you can apply the concept or not. Instead of worrying about this now since it's too late, start doing past papers right now. Do them in an exam setting, mark your papers and see what's your percentage. If you can get above 90% then yeah you can get an A/A* but if not well, try your best in the actual exam.
Hi. My chemistry practical is tomorrow. And that's my weakest paper. Could you please do a video that gives us tips on chemistry paper 5? And happy 1.6k subscribers!
Hey since I don't think I'll have time to make a separate video for that, here are few tips. - Study the common experiments in practical papers, memorize the steps and results. - If you've done p5 in school, revise the ones you've done, recall back the experiments you've carried out before. - Stay calm during the exam, don't panic and answer all the questions. - Finish everything within the time limit, don't spend too much time on one question. - Do past papers and read through the confidential experiments as well. Get used to the usual experiments they require the students to carry out. These are all I can think of for now, not sure if they are helpful since they are pretty general. Good luck!
hello do you please have the edexcel chemistry (triple) 2020 november or may papers i really need them if u have physics and biology too that would be great
Since the cleaning product is a basic substance, if you need more HCL, it means more acid is required to neutralise it. Why do we need more acid to neutralise it? It's because washing powder (base) is more concentrated.
For p6, try as many past papers as possible and you'll notice that certain questions are repeated. Memorise them and get familar with lots of planning an investigation questions. Also, make sure to read the questions thoroughly and understand what's going on in the question😊. For theory, it's important that you know the syllabus well. If you find any particular topic difficult, study it in detail first then start doing past papers. Try to identify your weaknesses while studying and focus on those. During the exam, always keep to the time limit and move on to the next question if you're not sure (to prevent wasting time). Good luck!👍
Try as many questions as possible, memorise the steps and the results. Also, make sure you directly answer every part of the question. Usually, the format goes like this (method->variables to be kept constant->how to measure the dependent variable->conclusion).
3a i feel like it was a test for sulfites but the answer was no change rather because there was no sulfite ion present not to test for reducing agent thx
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh studying for chemistry be like..................................btw thx for these videos i have mocks in two weeks so all these videos are doing me alot of good lol
It depends on the difficulty of tmr's paper. The grade boundaries for A ranged from 27 to 33 for Oct/Nov 2019 and Feb/Mar 2020. Maybe try to get above 35 to secure an A/A*. Also, it depends on p2 and p4😊
