- Okay so UA-cam Analytics told me that you guys LOVE tournament content. I guess that makes sense because I am the best player in the world after all :) I also did this because I had to. I had to play in the finals because I won that qualifier recently because I'm so good. Watch me be good.

He comes from by far the weakest region represented (Western Canada, our best player is Big D who doesn't play online) which is why he got 8th seed

Idk, Marss kinda destroyed him and using zss is much harder than Wolf offline and online.
The dude has potential but he is somewhat far from top level and its gonna be hard because theres already a meta developed against Wolf, thats why you rarely see the character in tournaments nowdays.

Just because you're clueless doesn't make that reality. Wolf can stuff her air to air and has a 12% transcendent projectile, ZSS can't camp him

Just because you are clueless doesnt make that a reality. Zss can run away and camp Wolf better than you think, he is just slow and trading isnt that big of a deal because he has no kill confirms, she has the potential to kill him early while she lives to like 100% most of the times because of how good she is at avoiding raw ko options.
His proyectile gets denied by just jumping zair or crawling ffs, thats not something that can avoid camping against fast characters, stopped being a thing after the nerf.
Zss takes a stock lead and she starts running, jumping and flipjumping from one side of the stage to another. What tf can Wolf and his slow ass do in that situation ?...Nothing.
ZSS doesnt have any MU the "suuucks", her most difficult ones (Wolf isnt one of them) are still extremely doable.

As a ZSS main, I love watching Marss play ZSS, it really helps me improve my playing. Like learning to not rely on side b too much, rising zair as a ledge option, punishing jumps with Up smash, and general movement stuff. Like it really sucks that he doesn't like playing her because he's the best source for learning how to get better with her.
Of course, she sucks, so I totally get it.
Run up up-smash is such a good tool for her, definitely learned it from watching marss. But the other main thing for me was how to mix up the timing of back air to secure stocks
Zss is busted but thats a secret.

Man, watching Ouch?! play his heart out against Marss was so nice to see. He is one of the strongest players in western Canada, a region that doesn’t get talked about much at all, but we actually have some fairly good talent over here. Only thing holding most of these guys back is that barely any of us travel outside of the region to big tournaments besides Big D and King Chris lol.
I love how he’s in the middle of the match and then all of a sudden marrs comes in from the right with sub to the channel clip 🤣

Marss vs Ouch is so similar to him vs light because they are both super aggressive players
Not similar in the slightest, Light is super agressive, makes insane reads and combos hard because thats how Fox is meant to be played.
Ouch tries to do that but he cant because Wolf is slow and boring overall.
Looking at the numbers. Marss only used 30% of his power in the first to 10 against bn. Giving him false hopes for those moment.
You can tell Marss has been looking up bestness and finding his habits in preparation for the next time he'd fight him.
Or he was mashing during their ft10 because he really didn't care? Seems to me that Marss wasn't trying very hard originally especially comparing the gameplay amount of whiffs and the overall tightness of his neutral. It seems to me that Marss gets a tourney "buff" almost, where he is more in the zone and has a more competitive mind set going into the game than anything else, I really dont think there's much about Best Ness that Marss would need to prepare for, Best Ness is a good player and should be respected but even I can pick up most of Best Ness's movements and habits from a couple games of watching him much less playing him, and you can best believe Marss is far better than me in every respect at Smash. You are underestimating the ability of a top 5 player, versus a tournament placer.
