Thank you. I have never been able to wrap my hair and where it works. I have a brand new stylist and I love her work. She is a healthy hair stylist and she's working to get my hair into a healthier state. It's not that bad. I have aging hair. I wore a fake ponytail for 9 years; since 2015. Didn't know what to do with my hair. I permed and covered the gray for years....myself while wearing a pony. It looked great! But over time my hairline receded a bit. Not terribly bad. But receded nonetheless. The last time a professional touched my hair was in 2013. My strand width was still a bit normal then. In about 2021, I took on a new stylist who specializes in Brazilian treatment. My hair, thin stands and all, looked great with this treatment. The stylist, a Master, to use these new descriptive categories assigned to stylists based on their expertise and number of years in their profession, is for sure, an excellent colorist, and she trims and cuts hair extremely, extremely well. The only thing I didn't like is that being that my hair's length is at the top of my back and well below my ears, it was so flyaway. The treatment is designed to straighten the hair, so it doesn't hold curls as well. If I rolled it, curls would hold for a time. Treatment would last for 3-4 mos. But I would get sick of it and would end up washing out the treatment. So I eventually went back to the ponytail. But this year, 2024, I began to look for another stylist, in my hometown here in Maryland. I found her in March and began going to her in April after returning from travel. I've been 2x so far. I go every 2 weeks. But I gotta get this wrap thing down. I believe your video will be extremely helpful. 2 weeks ago it just didn't go well. Last night, I just didn't attempt it and I slept on my face/arm. Tonight I am going to practice using your technique. I know it will work. Your explanation is so easy to follow.

how does ur hair stick like that when ur wrapping it around ? my hair goes everywhere and it’s messy even when i hold it with pins :(

Live it ,live the detail way you explain .One other thing after finishing the head tie you can slide the head tie around in the same angle that you wrap the hair ,to smoothen the wrapped hair

Great video very helpful since I'm just coming out of natural hair of 7 years to permed trying to learn how to lay it down at night! Like you I'm a wild sleeper and wake up with the scarf on the floor! Thanks again for the help!

Thx for sharing. Your technique is similar to ThatITgirl youtube vid. I ve just started to wrap my hair this way to reduce heat and I use ORS heat protectant serum for smoothing the hair when wrapping. I also gave delicate edges and get that fly away hair too😆 I start my wrapping on the hair that I tuck behind my ears I tried the other way and for some reason it hurts I'm not sure why. Maybe it's the way my hair grows out.

I wrap my hair just like you .your hair is pretty...I love my paddle brush..but I do use a bristle brush gently for fly aways
