I watched a few different videos about this company and their seats and was very impressed. I went on their website and started to place my order. I had a personal issue, so I clicked on the contact section and left my comment. In under 10 minutes George called me back and solved my issue. He is an awesome and amazing person. Customer service to me is number one and he gets it. Thank you for your video. It's one of the videos that I watched. I also have a Saddlemen Couch Soffer extended seat and I have not been happy with the comfort of it. The quality of the seat is top notch and their customer service is top notch also. Just depends on how much ridding you like to do.
I had the same experience with George from Bad Boyz Cyclez. I asked a question on their website expecting to maybe get a call back the next day, but no, I got a call back within 10 mins from George himself, not some call center rep but the owner of the company. He answered my question and then we talked for another 10-15 mins about his background and their company/products. Really cool guy, and absolutely stands by his products with second to none customer service! The Wild Bore Saddlebag Guards I bought were 10/10 on both quality and finish! So now I plan to sell my Saddlemen Road Sofa LS and pick up 1 of these Freedom series seats!

Great review and I can't agree more. Love the Bad Boyz seat, it's super comfy for those long rides. I'm all about customer service and I like the fact that the Owner, Founder George picks up his cell phone with any questions!

Great review and video, really like how you explained in detail about this seat. I just bought an "09" Road Glide and with me being 6'2" I need an extended reach seat and this looks like it is what I am looking for in seat designs.

George is great ! I bought a CVO backrest a few years ago and he is the best ! I’m currently looking for a new seat for 2 up and single so I’ve just decided by watching you video to the Freedom seat from George.

I’ve been waiting on my sdc for almost 6 weeks now. Cant wait to get it. Love the look and back rest. It’s a balance of give and take. I will give it 1000 miles before a fair review as I’ve heard that’s the break in.

I have a diamond stitch Mustang solo seat on my Road Glide and it's very comfortable.
I had the freedom version 1.0. I hit George up and he re-did mine. So now I got the 2.0. I also have 25k miles on my first seat. Love it. I am running the extended

I have the Saddlemen Dominator seat and it's exactly just like that freedom seat in this video. It would appear that Bad boys orders the seats from Saddlemen with their design.

I’ve got high hopes for this seat because the stock seat is F**kin Horrible 😡.
My 1st Harley… Been riding Italian Bikes mostly for the past 20 + yrs , doing a lot of track stuff.

Does the bad boy cycle seat hold water if you get stuck in the rain?
I inquired about Bad Boyz seats via their web site email and lo and behold the next day my phone is ringing and I'm getting texts and it's actually George the owner. What a great guy! We talked for about 20 minutes about multiple topics. This man is smart and experienced and I'd buy from him in a heart beat. Great review on these seats.
Is your Freedom seat the standard or extended reach?

Thanks for the great video. I purchased my 21 Road Glide Special in June and I’ve been looking for a comfortable seat that will fit my 6’5” frame. I need a tall boy seat that will move me back but still give me and a passenger that comfort. I will look into the Bad Boyz Freedom seat 👍🏾

As far as height, are you comparing to a stock CVO seat? If so, the difference is marginal. They make 2 sizes, depending on how far you want to sit back. I have the standard size. I'm 5'9.
Really good review, I’m leaning towards the Freedom series, would you say it is narrower than the stock seat? I’m looking for something that doesn’t push my legs out as wide as the stock seat does. With the stock seat I am on the balls of my feet when the bike is stopped and I’m sitting back normally. Thanks.
yes, it's as narrow, I wouldn't say narrower. It does NOT push your lets out, so no worries in that department. What rear suspension do you have?
The saddlemen seat comes with gel pack for the driver that's automatic. From what I hear you can also order extra gel to.
Most seats you can double dip on gel for a fee.

Do you mean the locking bolt? Not sure of the brand.
I have the saddleman slim LS. It’s firm but that’s what gives you support so there is no fatigue. saddleman rates my seat a 250 mile seat but I ride all day with no issues. CVO stock seat was horrible. There is a 500 miles break in period so it fits better. Watch their videos. Soft and plush doesn’t mean comfortable. As far as your comparison the freedom doesn’t look more plush than the saddleman. At the 2 seats are actually 2 different styles.
Seats are all about personal preference, fit, and comfort. I have over 500 miles on the Saddlemen, great for short distance riding.
The best seat out there
Two questions.
1. If you run the freedom with the rider back rest and a Harley passenger rest, is there plenty of passenger room?
2. If you are running without passenger pillion does the rider back rest look good? Seems like it would stick up very high. Thanks
I use the Bad Boys backrest, so far so good. You can use it with just the solo seat. Looks like all the others. They can also send you a smaller “stalk” so it’s not as high.

The harley seats are super low, in order to appeal to as many riders as possible. Remember, its not just the heights, but the width. The wider the seat, the more your legs are pushed out, feeling "higher". The Bad Boyz seat is almost the same feel, but better.

That's mine in solo and what not. Also that's the extended cause I am 6'5". Did a 13 hour ride from WV to NH 1 shot. Was very happy with it

Does that freedom seat sit you further back then the stock seat? If so, how much do you think?
Freedom has a standard, and an extended reach. I have the standard, and the placement is similar to stock, but since I have a T Bar setup, everything is offset. The positioning of the Freedom is superior to the stock, that is for sure.
You are comparing 2 different styles of seating. I'm not quite sure it's a fair comparison. You should have done a road sofa vs the bad boy.
I compared the seats that I owned, that work for me.
The Bad Boys Freedom seat looks to seat you lower than the sattlemen which is a big deal for me as being short on one end 👍😎

Yes. The one that wraps around you is for the King Tour pack.
How does that freedom seat sit you Lower or higher from stock? Also does it sit you back at all from stock ?
The stock seat is paper thin, so this seat feels more "secure", but I didn't feel higher...although it probably is slightly. I have the standard reach, you can buy the extended reach if you want to sit further back.
Comparing the saddle man seat to the stock cvo seat how does it compare?
Night and day. Stock seat to me was very basic. I sold it quickly.

Hard to tell which seat is best until you ride it.
How many miles do you have on the seat and did you review it after it was broken in?
1,000's...and we spent 28 days on a road trip this past summer, riding everyday covering 4,200 miles. Never had fatigue, etc. Seat is incredible.

Hi Stan. I spent some time on the phone with George talking seats of course. I had intended to get the Freedom extended seat. Then George says how tall are you? I told him I was 6'1' and was interested in a solo only seat. He thought a bit and said the standard Scorpion would be the best choice for me. I said OK I trust your opinion So my new Scorpion seat will be here tomorrow. George is a great guy to talk to and I would encourage you to do so. Good luck.
Bad boyz is a great seat and George is a great guy.
However I would not use this Freedom seat for long distance. Tried it several times, with over 9000 miles on the seat so it is broken in, my ass goes to sleep about an hour to 1 1/2 hours into my ride.
For short in town and medium rides I used the Bad boyz Freedom, but for long distances I use the Saddleman road sofa.
I am 5' 11" and I use the extended reach, it is narrower between my legs and sits me maybe 1/2" lower than stock seat
Interesting, my wife and rode 4,200 miles in 28 days this summer. Spent almost a month on the bike. Most days we averaged 4.5 hours. Zero fatigue. Let George know, he may have a solution for you.
I have a road sofa & actually ordered a bad Boyz freedom because the road sofa is just not comfortable at all. Way to stiff , even after the break in period. I’m curious on your comment as most people I know have all switched to the bad Boyz seat from Saddlemen for comfort.

Which seat? The Bad Boyz comes in 2 sizes. Both are not "high", but the Saddlemen is a bit lower due to not having as much gel.

Why this over the scorpion series
I haven't used the scorpion seat, so I can't really give an honest comparison.
Does this seat sit you higher lower or the same as the stock seat?
Anything is going be slightly higher than stock, since the stock seat is paper thin. The SDC was almost identical, and the Freedom seat for sure has more gel and comfort. But, neither was "taller". Remember, the width of the seat makes a huge difference, as it put your legs out wider, resulting in a "higher" feel.
Almost a grand for everything on the badboy sheesh

I just found badboyz and I am a 5 ft female in a streetglide and in need of a seat. I have spoken to Corbin with mustang with lepera and harley. Geirge called me in canada !!! I was totally interested in the Bad Boyz seat until it was shown on the bike. Man that’s a ugly and bulky seat if that’s the way it looks on the bike. I’m looking for a seat that the passenger isn’t sitting 8-10” higher than the rider. They’ll have hell with wind buffering sitting up on a pedestal 🤷🏻♂️
the passenger always sits higher, they are on the rear fender. I would say it's closer to 6". Not a factor, we spent a month out west and zero wind issues. Just wanted you to know.

You can take it to a small independent shop owner/seat builder, and he can trim it done however you like.
I tried badboys seat , I payed for and waited 4 1/2 months to receive the seat. I canceled my order and only got back some of my money. It is a scam
I ordered my seat and while it took a long time to get..I did get the seat. I talked with the people from badboyz many of times over the waiting period as a mis order by me happened. I do think some things need to be worked out there. But I don't believe it is a scam.
Ya I order one to took 6 months still didn’t get it and then I see official Mac a new venmon seat from them was like no way canceled the order and looked that seat is way over price now almost a grand for it and it’s not leather no way
Sorry to say but the bad boyz seat is ugly but that’s just my opinion I would go with Saddlemen seat any day I hear what your saying about backing up their products and all of that but I wouldn’t buy it just for that reason even if it ugly sorry
