I'm a mechanic 👨🔧, i repair cars, motorcycles, lawn movers, chainsaws, snow blovers, I do welding 👨🏭 as well, I work whit my brother, hes a mechanic as well, we work in our dads workshop. I've Been working on cars for 16 years, i'm 31 years old. I like working whit my hands, working whit tools, keep Up The good work 👍. I like your videos 👍. Cheers. :-)
As a Jimmy Riddle commented below, ''Necessity Is The Mother Of Invention'', but in this case, your brain is the mother of invention. Pardon my language, but this is ''F(@%ing Brilliant''. I've looked at the designs of, or seen other builds of lifting tables like this & I think this is ''THE BEST'' I've seen by far. Man, I love the tools you have too. That baseless drill press is something I've got to get or create. That powered plasma cutter on a track is great as well. Now to the project. Using an Acme threaded rod the entire length seems to really work out well in building one of these. Usually, a short stroke hydraulic jack or linear actuator is used for the lifting, but I believe the long Acme rod works better. I was planning to build 1 of these using a pair of matching linear actuators from the assortment of them I've accumulated over the years, but, again, I like the use of the full length Acme rod. From the looks of it, you've got around a 6 to 8 inch minimum height (depending on the caster size). Am I close to correct on that? As far as the maximum height, it looks like you're getting at least 36 inches with it. I love this thing, Man. Using the modified right angle gear head from an old grinder, powered by an old cordless drill drive is ingenious as well. I usually see something that I may have done differently in some way, but not here. Maybe using shorter casters would be the only thing I might change. There's nothing wrong with what you used (by the way, tapping threads into the steel for the casters is something I always believed would be better than ''welding'' the caster plate to the frame as everyone else seems to do), it's just that shorter casters would make it lower to the floor. Another thing would be to have a DPDT switch connected to it via a fairly long cable & putting limit switches on it to keep it from running too far 1 way or the other to prevent it from jamming. This is not criticizing anything at all. There is ''NOTHING'' to criticize about with this project & the finished product. There's so many things you could use this for if it has plenty of lifting power. Do you have any idea what the lifting capacity for this might be? What I want to build needs to be powerful enough to lift a riding lawn mower. You've built this heavy enough that if the drill motor/grinder gear head isn't powerful enough to lift as much as I'd like, a more powerful drive motor could easily be substituted. I would more than appreciate it if you could give me an approximation on the lifting power of this jewel. Thank you for showing this to everyone. I'm fairly certain you've inspired more people than just me. I'm writing you down in my book as someone to watch for on here. Keep up the ''EXCELLENT'' work & take care.
@@MadeinPolandChannel Excellent Work Pro You brought me an idea for a device similar to what you built in a video because I work with heavy batteries to lay on shelves that will help very much instead of picking up the hands By the way how your clamps works by pressing with the foot Thanks

Great project. I find mechanical lift tables much more useful than hydraulic lifts. It is hard to set the exact height I want with a hydraulic lift table.
I may have to build me a lift table because I can buy materials when I have the money and time to It’s a poor man’s way of life now Thank You for information
That's damn nice work. I am guessing that you are not a well provisioned amateur or enthusiast, but rather a "real" professional. I love that electro-magent drill. Thanks for showing off yur skills.
I liked the paint job shake. That was well done. Pretty interesting design on the table, but dang that thing sounds loud. Just some food for thought (no ill will intended), if you ever decide to build a machine that has tight tolerances and you intend to use for many years. It may be better to design pices in sub assemblies which you assemble first and separately then assemble the sub assemblies together. It is meant to hasten assembly times, make things easier to assemble and disassemble. Of course this is far more beneficial for that which is mass produced.

I would recommend a momentary switch instead of a toggle because if something bumps it, it'll keep going.
Awesome mate, I think you need to give that threaded bar a bit of support in the middle. She’s a bit wobbly.
