Fleur, you might think your Vlogmas isn’t as ‘slick’ as others but to me, and I suspect, most others, it is far superior. You show real life. Your home is beyond stunning yet it isn’t artificially staged like a show home. It is exactly how a family home should be. Your vlog is the only one where I feel like I am visiting a friend. Your vlogs are such a welcome distraction from work at the moment. I’m a junior doctor working in a tier 3 area and our COVID numbers are going up and with winter pressures, healthcare workers are all feeling stretched. COVID also meant we don’t get to have as much decorations for the wards due to infection control. Not so festive this year unfortunately.
Seeing this vlog pop up right before I start getting ready for night shift is godsend! Thank you for continuing to do this and sharing your life with us. 💕

Hello from Iowa USA..I am 67 yr old widow and I work in a nursing home....It breaks my heart seeing our residents crying just wanting to see their families & especially the grand& great grand children.....we are in complete lock down because of 14 residents positive gor Covid....

@@virgloh8934 I miss my family too and especially my late grandmother, but if she was alive I would prefer not to see her for years If that is what I have to do to protect her. I wish to all of the residents good health and I am sending them all my love.

Thank you for virtually "inviting us in" to quarantine the last few months, and vlogmas in lockdown! I know the holidays will look so different this year, but it is so comforting knowing we are all working through this together.

I grew up in an asian family and my parents weren’t used to showing much emotion growing up (sometimes I think this attributes to my anxiety and low self-esteem). I just want to say it moves me deeply seeing how endearingly you interact with your child. I wish I could show my kids as much love when it’s my time to be a mum. I`m sure you will Eleanor, I think you will be surprised how empowering and encouraging the love shared between you and your little can be. When they come to you for kisses, cuddles and comfort and you are all they want in the world it`s so wonderful. And I think understanding what was missing in your own childhood is very good insight into what your own child needs and deserves. You will be a wonderful Mom, believe it ! xx
I had anxiety and I have 4 children! I’m not sure if you have any support? But keep learning to love and be kind to yourself and one day it suddenly all clicks into place lovely 💕 you will get there in your own time, I have absolute faith in you xx
Grew up in an Asian family with emotional disconnect too. I live away from them now and have my own family and we are completely different. You are more emotionally capable because you acknowledge the emotional disparity exists. Your future children will be lucky to have you!
This touched me. You will amazing Eleanor! Trust me ❤️. My grandma was very detached from my mother and didn’t show emotions, she didn’t share much with my mother either. However my mum is completely different than her own mother! She’s always so open, even talks about everything with me and my sibling. You will be so wonderful because you will want to build a bond with your children, due to your own experiences. Have faith darling, the fact that you care so much already about this, shows what a beautiful soul you are. 🥰🌹
I like the way you cook (simple and attractive, wrap, etc..) make me want to eat more vegetables. I wish one day you'll make a cookbook!!

Thank you to all the incredible NHS staff for their ongoing work. Although it’s sad to not see family at Xmas, it feels like the right thing to do to keep our NHS from being overwhelmed and also not put family at risk. Hopefully we will be back to ‘normal’ xmas, Hanukkah and Eid in the near future.
Girl I could just watch an entire vlogmas of you guys just sitting there by the fireplace with a sleepy piglet on your lap, and that would be enough to relax me. Love the chill cozy vibes.

I love EVERY snippet of what we get to see of your normal life! Organising/renovating your home, what the doggies and cats get up to, things like candle making to learn something new. The only vlogmas worth watching imo! Happy holidays and hope to see you again in the new year!

Can’t believe tomorrow’s already Christmas Eve! This year because of the disease-that- must-not-be-named it doesn’t even feel like Christmas to me, but I am forcing myself to get into the festive mood to make it still feel special for my kids. I love that the cat came on the family walk, mine do that 😍 Yep, rubbish, I'm tier 4, haven't seen parents for months, really sad, Xmas day with just me and hubby won't be that bad will it??!!......🤔😂. Based in Oxfordshire. 3 hours ago we found out that we'll be in Tier 4 from Boxing Day. I live with my parents and we had no plans for Christmas so I'm grateful for that, but my god what a balls up it's been. I feel so bad for anyone living alone, for everyone working in the NHS and for small business owners who have had no support. 2020 sucks.

On another note, I'm sorry about the lockdown. I wish the UK government had made the decision earlier; I think that would have been less sad for people. My own provincial government in Canada announced that Christmas was locked down (no contact outside your household) back in early December, so we've had weeks to get over the disappointment.

We are in tier 4 and Christmas will be myself, my husband and our 20 month old son. Trying not to think about not having my mum and dad over (they are 81yrs & 92yrs old) and them being on their own this year. But, there are other people worse off then us so we are just grateful to still be here.

I know things haven’t been going to plan, but we really have to look at our blessings. Last year we had a horrible health scare and it has put everything into perspective. The only thing I want is health of my loved ones. Even if you can’t be physically together,knowing they are well is everything.
