I'm not of the Catholic faith, but I have always believed Jesus is the Son of God and Mary is His Mother and that The Father is the God of Abraham. This prayer/message has come to me, through you, at a time in my life when I've needed it most. I know without a doubt I have no future, as you said, God's a gentleman. As the light at the end of the tunnel draws closer, I needed to leave my people (my land that the soul of my foot has tread upon, my flower garden.) in His care, and find peace. Thank you! I surrender to you God. I trust you. Never would I have imagined I would be going through this. I’m a single mother with two autistic boys. I lost my job, because I declined the vaccine. I declined the vaccine because I’m battling lupus I’m on a ton of meds everyday I’m already in a lot of pain. I feel so alone. My entire family turned on me because of my decision. I’m an outcast now. I’m so ashamed that I can’t provide for them. It’s only because of the grace of God and strangers we have food and our home. I’m so thankful! I pray God hears my prayers. I have faith God will provide. Faith is all I have left!
I will pray for you. You are so strong and should have no shame or embarrassment for your life lived in Christ. Living in Christ can be a profound struggle in this world. I look to the cross and know Jesus understands our pain and times of suffering. Stay strong in faith and prayer. God bless you.

Your experience was something that was very similar to my life when I finally surrendered to God he revealed my true desire to Marry and have children was not a running away from religious life but a sincere call in my heart. You could say it was his heart coming forth in me! Getting married almost exactly a year from now so praise God for my bride!
Stacey talked at a retreat my school held last year and can i just say her words have changed my life!! At the time I was struggling with anxiety and lots of feelings of depression and I felt hopeless and that I would never be able to live a happy life. Her talk on submitting myself entirely to Christ’s will and allowing Him to take care of everything really saved me. (I’ve been going to therapy but also) since then whenever I feel down I surrender to God, He takes care of things as He promised, and then I rejoice and give myself to Him because I’ve seen His goodness. God has a funny way of leading me to the right message when I absolutely need to hear it or be reminded of it. I absolutely feel myself in a similar situation to yours described in the video. “Take up your cross and follow me…” It is not a burdensome life we are asked to give-up, it is taking on a death sentence. It costs One’s entire life to follow whole-heartedly….feels like a curse at times. Feel uplifted through this, Saints. You are in good fellowship with the prophets, judges, and apostles. It requires total release/surrender to gain all of Heaven….the Holy Ghost dwelling within; a wisdom which passes all understanding. 🕊
This is something I've been struggling over- especially with trusting God with my finances and tithing. Thank you for posting- I'll continue to pray for the courage to trust God with everything and start tithing!
Remember when you learnt to swim You thought I'm never going to be able to do this! Then you started to float! Trusting in our GOD is the same Just lie back & you will float God has you!
Has God been asking you in your heart to tithe? Or has your church been telling you that you ought to give 10%? I would listen to God, but don't be fooled by the "prosperity gospel" promise that your finances will blossom if only you will give more. Give what your heart tells you, even if it's all you have. Jesus was impressed by the widow who put her last two cents in the offering, because she gave all she had, including her heart and her trust. He didn't care about those who put in exactly 10%, since they were counting from their surplus. Take care of your responsibilities, and give Jesus everything. He knows what you need, even before you ask.
what she said immediately reminded of Ezekiel 36:26-27 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit in you…..” (NIV) I pray that I may let go of my heart of stone so I can receive God’s heart and Spirit.

I recently had a moment where I felt like God wanted me to forgive someone who hurt me very badly. It ended badly. I am trying right now so hard to have faith.
You can forgive someone Without giving them an opportunity to hurt you again. You don't have to bring them back into your life if they are toxic. I had an aunt who used to make criticism of my sister but because she was alone my sister always asked her to come on the holidays which always ended upsettingly for her. I told her to make sure my aunt was taken care of and had everything she needed to have the holiday but don't invite her. Maybe she would learn to be nice and you can invite her again but you don't have to subject yourself to someone who is toxic.

What an incredibly profound and wise reflection. Suddenly, the phrase of the Lord's Prayer that says, "Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven," makes complete sense. Giving our will to God shows that little paper clip that we sometimes use to hold onto things. It's amazing that God wants everything about us, except our sins; all our brokenness, our failures, our weaknesses and not just what good we can do or have done. God is perfect in Himself He doesn't need our good to make Him better, but He wants us to be with Him totally so that we are perfect and can have the fullness of joy with Him. God is great indeed, His love and mercy infinite and beyond measure. I am broken in many ways if God wants justice to be done now I will be nothing at this very moment, but He gives His love and mercy always before the coming justice. I have to be prepared, for I do not know the time and the hour, but I know God is good and I have to surrender to Him totally and follow Him without looking back. Wow, thank you for this. The one thing I thought I'd struggle with most and felt I would hold onto strongest ended up being the one thing I felt Jesus say "trust me" with and I felt peace. I hope that makes sense, it's after midnight and I should be asleep 😴 Thanks again.
I strongly struggle with trusting God. I wonder like what if He's not really there and what if He does not care? I have first-world problems and most of my problems are self-inflicted. It can be easy to think God only likes perfect people. Surrendering to God is scary. I think the Litany of Humility is a scary prayer too.
They may not be the most pressing problems, but don't discount them.... it's truly scary for anyone to surrender! It's because you see the enormity of the commitment. I've found it impossible to me to give him the body, mind, desires, friends, relationships etc (the paperclip) while the garbage was really easy to dispose of, well, that's enough for me.

In the last month, "praying the Surrender prayer" has been mentioned to me by multiple people, in multiple situations, all culminating with me seeing this video in my feed today. I was searching for a Lenten practice to embrace. Thank you for this video.

Wow, thank you for this. The one thing I thought I'd struggle with most and felt I would hold onto strongest ended up being the one thing I felt Jesus say "trust me" with and I felt peace.

I strongly struggle with trusting God. I wonder like what if He's not really there and what if He does not care? I have first-world problems and most of my problems are self-inflicted. It can be easy to think God only likes perfect people. Surrendering to God is scary. I think the Litany of Humility is a scary prayer too.
They may not be the most pressing problems, but don't discount them.... it's truly scary for anyone to surrender! It's because you see the enormity of the commitment. Keep leaning into God and taking your fear to him. He will do amazing things with your story. God bless and thank you so much for watching- praying for and with you!
@@Seraphicallia I think the difficulty comes because most of my problems are self inflicted. Trusting God is scary. There are always doubts.
@@IONov990 I think for many of us our greatest demons are self-inflicted... the effects of original sin. And I absolutely know too that there are always doubts. Don't listen to the snake! He's a liar. Only God is trustworthy.
@@Seraphicallia It can be hard coming to God knowing all your weaknesses. I know I can very superficial, self centered, demanding, and vain.

A Prayer of Surrender
God, my Father, I thank you for all that You are, and all that you do for me through your son Jesus Christ. I praise you for my life, for your mercy and for your Eucharist. In Jesus' name, Father, I place myself entirely in your Heart.
I surrender to you my whole self, my heart, my mind, my memory, my imagination, my will, my emotions, my passions, my body, my sexuality, my desire for human approval, my weaknesses, my desires, my sins.
I surrender every person in my life to you. I surrender every situation in my life to you. I surrender every relationship I am in to you. I surrender every concern I have to you. I surrender every fear I have to you. I surrender every doubt I have to you. I surrender all confusion I have to you. I surrender all the sadness I am experiencing in my heart to you.
