Unfortunately Ustad vested his music for people who don't understand intricacies of refinements of Hindustani Classical music,and in 60s and 70s people like me were deprived of thisvgreat artistic telente. Totally wasted his life for Americand who doesn't understand a bits of this Spritual great music. Sad Story UT true.
A wrong and prejudiced view...it is because of the great ustad ji and pandit Ravishankar ji's untiring efforts that Indian classical instrumental music has gained genuine understanding and deep appreciation in the western world and elsewhere.
