Your words, "I lie awake at night, crying out, Lord where is your justice..." struck such a cord. I have been crying out for 4 years for the church I was at. And likewise, the most heartache came and still comes from the relationships i have lost. I can only trust Jesus will walk through those doors and bring justice and repentance. I have to trust that the Lord will be able to completely heal my heart after the devastation brought on by pastors.
Wow, I understand now why Miller was so apprehensive about naming the place that hurt him. Thank you for your courage, Miller. Praying the Lord would bring light into the darkness. I love especially when you guys elaborated on what true bitterness and true trauma is, all of these points are needed when those dealing with church trauma are trying to figure it all out. It definitely helped me! But praise God that no matter what happens, He always has us
Thank you so much for sharing.
Our war is not flesh and blood but powers and principalities. I wish more of this conversation focused on right ecclesiology. How would you structure it differently? It still seems like directed towards people from a place of hurt and pain. When you come onto UA-cam it’s important to point people toward Jesus
I'm soo excited about this interview. Was following Remnant Radio long before I ran into ctpm. And became even more appreciative when Michael openly stepped into the abuse advocacy world. It really encouraged me to press on in this direction. The pushback against advocates and people helpers when we talk about abuse can be soo depressing.
It's great that so many are stepping forward and making a difference. I'm glad Michael's experience and vocie has been an encouragement to you.
I was at the exact church in Frisco that Michael is talking about. Am I able to get in touch with him? I’ve reach out to the church on the website but it may have been ignored, which makes sense I’m not a member totally get it! I have big concerns and have left that church and Pastor Michael is completely right and more! Strange fire, unsound preaching, many times skipping on the sermon and just having 2 hours of worship and prophecy on Sundays INSTEAD of a sermon, and there’s much more that has gone on since he was kicked out many years ago. Murmuring about Michael too and slander, prayer sets have mentioned you and it’s wrong and I wasn’t listened to when brought up to other members so I didn’t bother with leadership I just left quietly
I beleive you Michael and it's inexcusable how (the other) Michael Miller treated you. Thank you for bravely sharing your story.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
if all of this is true, you have a really strong lack of forgiveness - red flag

@@RightOn-r4g if you define forgiveness as instant trust and reconciliation that would be true. But there are plenty of cases in scripture where Jesus and the apostles did not entrust themselves to toxic people. John 2:24-25, 2 Timothy 4:14.
@@CalledToPeaceMinistries I don’t define forgiveness, the bible does. The greek word for forgiveness literally means “to let go”. I know forgiveness does not mean you’re going to be best friends. I don’t think I have to define what letting go means.
@@RightOn-r4gand yet Paul warned people about people who harmed him. It protects others to let them know things like “Alexander the coppersmith did me harm.” And other places there were warnings like this.
