When I was still new to the betta breeding i actually used this method for maybe 5or 6spawns and for each spawn i would get about 10 babies that will grow to adult but when I switched to using baby brine shrimp i had a consistent 100+ babies per spawn so i highly recommend using baby brine shrimp if you want to get more babies to survive

I feed twice a day.

With your info and a bit of experience, I got another good successful spawn of alien hybrid bettas! I got about 100 or so babies that hatched about a week ago. I’m feeding them egg yolk and bbs because I found out that egg yolk is a good small alternative to infusora.

What about frozen baby brine shrimp?
I'm not a breeder and have no plans to become one, but a friend gave me a couple of delta bettas and I was intrigued since he said they're easy to breed and will have babies in a week or two, and now there are babies! I'm not sure what to feed them, and I'm not sure where to find those mini worms. So thanks a lot 💖

If the water looks unclear and thick, you must water change immediately.
You must observe them regularly and carefully.
To ensure good water quality, water change after 2 days.

It depends.
If you sprayed to much and the fry was not able to consume all the food, you should water change more often.
Observe the fry, if some of them looks in trouble, water change immediately.
Or you can do every 2 days to ensure water quality 😀👍

Try feeding my 3 day old fry with decapsulated brine shrimp eggs , but that didn't work out I lost 97% of them.☹ Apparently they wasn't consuming them...But it was a learning experience some consume n some don't ... I know people that got their 3day old fry to consume decapsulated..

I've tried decapsulated BBS, but I am not a fan of it.
I may be wrong, but the fry wont eat it.

Don't siphon the water directly to the ground or to your drain.
Siphon water into another container. SO, if you accidentally suck a fry, you can just get it back 😀👍

They will acquire color starting 4 weeks old and above 👍

If your container is small, add aerator around 2 weeks.
If your container is big, you dont actually need aerator. But if you want to, you can add. It is good for them too

After breeding, they develop new eggs after 1-2 weeks and can be breed again 😀👍

My only gripe is those uneaten yolks will form a mucus substance and may cause the frys to get trapped and die in it..i lost alot of betta frys before so now i mostly cultured bbs.
