So in this series Rich and Sonny G - Wrestling Commentator/Interviewer watch classic never-before-seen footage from the archives of UK wrestling.
This week we have Giant Haystacks vs Steven (William) Regal in a double bill.
The first happened at Blackpool Tower (27/12/1990) and the second took place at Bath Pavilion (02/11/1991).
Two legends of the scene, some amazing footage that is so bad it's great, what else was do you need to start your weekend off?

Loved both Haystacks and Regal.
The giant splash that the Giant Haystacks does is one of the most impressive and dangerous looking moves ever (here in the first match). He drops that big gut and his elbow so fast and so suddenly that it makes you think that if he had missed the mark there would've been dead people in the ring. Cheers.

Giant Haystacks too me was like the European version of One Man Gang.
The commentators talked like they had just come fresh from steam radio and were frightened of silence.
Regal has an impressive physique

Big Daddy and Haystacks only ever fought 1 on 1 on FA Cup Day at Wembley Arena on World of Sport.
They were matched many times in tags but were never in the ring at the same time.
At first they fought as a tag team. Crabtree was always the bad guy when he called himself The Battling Guardsman
This match was a total mockery of British wrestling. The lack of rules and referee authority ruins what makes it magic.
Regal really ages well. Unbelievable!

Great match but turn those commentators off dont need to hear their opinions on classic uk wrestling. Kent walton was always the man on the mic.

@@Powered4TV cheers! I was a huge world of sport wrestling fan from the mid seventies onward until it got taken off their air in 1988.. glorious times. Before wwf took over. Rollerball Rocco was my fav awesome guy way ahead of his time his battles with Dynamite kid were the best.

Haystacks was a beast when he was younger and would of handled any big man when he was in his prime but they didn't want haystacks around when he was In his prime coz Andre wouldn't of looked so big next to haystacks so he wasn't asked to come over while Andre was their biggest draw!!!!!!!!!!!!

No financial gain then why are there adverts which make you money??? Are any of these promotions or wrestlers getting their share of this money? Didn't think so.
I didn't say it was TV footage it's obviously a promotion's camera and Chris who sells these on eBay is not selling the license to use the footage for anything other than personal viewing.
