Exactly as I was thinking lmao, her pride resonance is going to go HARD. Also, Faust has an insane s1, along with meusualts buff, assist attack is going to go crazy.
I really like the idea of seeing more first impressions from you, be it this "scatterbrained" it's so nice seeing how the perception changes before and after release, would love for more of these if the time is not an issue.

Meursalt taking the biggest power boost as a sinner in general by far and I'm all for it
These units have a lot of potential to be really good. Every single Blade Lineage unit can be slapped into a team with the Pequod identities, making Ahabmael an absolute monster with the Pride resonance being easy to gain, along with the ever so increase of Poise being scattered across the entire team with ease. And the new Meursault identity will probably be my new favorite identity in the game for a while.
Can't wait for the event, the units look really fun to use.
If the condition is 3+ BL IDs, then bringing the Prequod Trio would be OP as hell
I honestly think bringing the whole Pequod trio is a bad idea.
Pequod Yi Sang doesn't bring much and doesn't benefit as much as BL Yi Sang would.
Pequod Heathcliff wants _envy_ resonance, not pride. The only way to get him +1 coin power is Ahab S1+Don S2+Faust Hex Nail+BL Meur Counter...and why would you use counter over literally any other of Meur's skill just to give Heathcliff +1 coin power? And while Meur might only get it from his S3, but Pequod Heathcliff competes with him on aggro too.
IMO the best team will probably be:
Ahabmael
BL Meur
BL Don
BL Faust
BL Sang
Flex that contributes to pride resonance or rounds out affinities you want (BL Sinclair would be good here. So would pirate Gregor.)

Dont worry about this kind of videos, this feels so much more organic, its really nice seeing you more direct with your words. I woudnt really mind seeing more of these, actually i would like more of these, hearing your opinions when batches drop has been really nice
Just a silly little reminder that Pequod captain Ishmael applies pride power up. 2 of it per skill 2 use, yeah it stacks fun fact. 4 power up claim their bones is going to be goofy.
Also, if I know PM, they're always up to a little bit of goofery. They know what the players want and they will almost always let it happen. Regret is definetly going to work with claim their bones, there's no doubt in me.

For me one of the things that makes me even more is that this proves that we will get more complex and interesting ID specific debuffs and buffs in the future(I in fact love reading).

I’m a sucker for faction buffs though, so very very happy. Big fan of slivers in MTG, abyssal hunters in AK, couldn’t be happier about this.
Oh also was speculating with some people that chains of others would nerf YMF but not affect the power of TCTB because TCTB is classified as a defensive skill.
So that might be the most reliable way to get that done.

To Claim Their Bones and that immortality passive makes screw-lose wallop a lot more viable for that teth slot.
Immortality for one turn, plus doing what you planned requires a shit ton of stars to align and preparations to be done, while you can just get regret and enjoy your free coin power.
Oh nvm, I was only thinking about the passive and forgot about surgery.

to claim their balls is not a on the dashboard skill so it likely wont work with the ID
To claim their bones is legit a replacement for ego when clashing

Its so cool, its so powerful. Ahabmael is gonna cook very good like she gives pride power up and its insane on these teams, Gregor looks very hot, Meursault skill that gives you agro and if someone hits you on next turn you use skill, will it hit everyone who will attack him or no? But limbus finally becoming interesting, its just almost sixth canto and they're already cooking
He has attack weight that equivalates to amount of his poise in possession. I am very excited to make a team with Faust and Meursault around Ishmaels Pequod team. Since Meursault has an envy counter, and Faust EGO Hex nail, it makes Don Quixote counter nuke possible and full power Sever Knot too, while Faust provides very valuable resources such as sloth and gloom, while also supporting the bleed count and getting into the Meursault unique buff category. Truly Ideal.
why do they make Don's chest bigger with every new id

They saw Chef Gregor and really thought we gotta redeem ourselves
the "until the skill ends" may implies "until that skill on the dashboard is completely used" nothing can stagger him before that
So Blade Lineage Yi Sang, right. Passive makes him gain coin power per 5 poise count, up to 3. Run him with Mentorsault. "Coin power inversely proportional to # of coins" from SotH. I thought that would mean 3 - # of coins, but the lack of benefit for Plum Faust makes me think it might be fucking 4 - x instead. So his skill 1 is base 6 with +7. +3 more from the passive. + either 2 or 3 more from Mentorsault. We're at 12-13 coin power on a skill 1 already. And then he gets SotH: Rending, so extra final power from the Pride Resonance (we'll call it 2 for this purpose). And then you're running Ahabmael, so that's 2 more final power from Pursue Them To The End.
That's a 22-23 final roll range on a *Skill fucking 1.* God I love this game.

You might be able to more reliably trigger TCTB by using Meursault's base EGO the turn prior, giving himself 3 attack power down, this will also give him protection for the attack he'll be taking as well.
Granted you'll lose out on a bit of damage, but I reckon it'll be more managable than getting into low sanity to lose the clash.
Edit: Looking back, since TCTB is considered a defence skill since it's a counter, wouldn't that also mean it doesn't benefit from attack power changes? If that's the case then you actually wouldn't be losing out on any damage.
We'll see the coin power of YMF first I think, didn't know if it's me but if YMF was actually around like 15-23 it's... Actually still not that bad? Lmao I'm clueless for once in ID skill release (for a good thing)

An extreme amount of tomfoolery will happen when the event releases.
Here's an example of such tomfoolery: Meursault can clash with Blind Obsession with Yield My Flesh, lose, get absolutely nuked by the whale, refuse to die thanks to passive, not get staggered thanks to the Yield My Flesh on use effect and then hit the bastard with To Claim Their Bones.
This is going to be one of the best updates for Limbus. Poise went from meh to absolutely ridiculous and I'm so happy to see that.
i also like how they made so you want to being as many kurukumo and bl ids as possible since every new one gives 30% and every old one 20% of the events currency
max is 120 tho so you just need the 4 event ones (30×4)
“I dont ever do this” I love, live on the fly early thoughts, like podcasts. Predictions and off the top of the head ideas are so cool and nice to hear. I wouldn’t be opposed for this to happen in the future and then in vids you have kinda less to go over. You can even solidify or correct your predictions.
now if meursault s1 get triggered by assist attack, has pride resonance condition fulfilled and it does trigger the s1 effect, that would be very powerful

I love how Project moon decided that the way to fix the Blade Lineage IDs that were weak they just made Don fix all the poise problems and Meursalt makes all the other BLs stronger

more often than not i find myself replaying these videos at work for background noise and end up missing the visual gags and more intense editing, so having a variety between these two styles seems very appealing :]

my gut says that the counter's "can not go below 1HP" is only for that turn and SHOULD be limited to just once per battle. cause if it's unconditional and can be recycled over and over and over again... it would mean that ANY content could be beaten cause the new Meursault would never die. maybe even trivialize any railway content, which would be a massive no no... that's my opinion. should the counter endure be forever, cool... but i find it VERY unlikely that Pmoon will let that be a thing. there needs to be a balance.. so hopefully it's just once per battle and not just spam the counter.
Mersault may be a LITTLE over stacked and potentially shift the meta into just full BL teams (I’m. Not against making faction teams viable since it makes sense, but is making 1 Id the buff god for them the right way to go???)
i think tctb will work with regret BECAUSE regret says "leftmost skill slot" not "first skill used", THUS though regret would still make it harder to claim bones, tctb would be in the same slot as ymf and thus benefit
BL Faust S3 gain coin power with Poise. There's no conditional for it so it's likely that the coin power = poise. 20 coin power BL Faust is real.
thanks to the Yield My Flesh event, I literally grinded so hard that I have everything I need (I literally only miss Pequod Captain Ishmael and Little Sister Don Quixote in Season 3, the rest is history)
The best part about Meursault, for me, is the fact that BL Yi Sang can become cracked with him on the team. With him providing poise to my boi, he basically speeds up the process it takes for Yi Sang to clash really well. Now add Don and we have a solid squad. Then you could fill your last spots with Kurokumo units (+ Gregor) and now you have a squad that can clash and let you bleed out. It is also funny because you want to have little bleed count to make use of Hong Lu’s cloud cutter more often.
Edit: It is also funny to me how accessible his Swordplay of the Homeland passives are with Yi Sang.
No wonder BL Outis killed her mentor he was ASS compared to Meursault.
Bladesault's S3 will probably get a lot of use against those bosses that are nearly impossible to win clashes on. Annihilate that damn shark.
