my own lumber yard

I have much more access to some of the natural resources here with a kayak. in some of the heavier treed areas there is no access to all the little and big treasures that wash ashore here..
Its like having my own private lumber yard and the cost with tax is just effort, and on a beautiful sunny day like today, fun..
There's something very rewarding about setting out on little excursions like this and bringing back usable materials to build with. So much better than going large lumber yards and chains like home depot..

So wait for the ice to come and slide them home! I just picked up some pine and cherry boards from Dave’s wife’s parents house in VT. Some 90 in long and 3-4 in thick. Got to be 20-30 in wide. I’ll send you pics.
