This was my feeling too, loved the first one but Part 2 felt too much like a middle installment. And it's odd they're doing a prequel before Part 3 with a different cast, like finish the main story first instead of leaving us on another cliffhanger for who knows how long?

Old video I know but I really disliked the 2nd film. The last scene with the brother and sister was way way way too long. I actually yelled at the screen "Just do it already!" because of how long and drawn out it was. Other than that little bit and the brother being a huge candy ass with an eye rolling change in the last sequence, it was pretty decent.

My son's and I went to see it when it first came out , none of us cared for it . BTW completely agree with you on you're critiques of the movie but still think you're giving it more credit then it deserves. Because after giving it more time to think about it I've come to realize it pretty much sucked . It took all the rules and everything else that made the first movie good and completely took a crap on causing me to truly hate it .
