IMHO, Abel is arguably better than Cain, especially on hard mode where you need access to ranged weapons like Javelin to do chip damage without being counter-attacked.
Well I am one of those people who prefere Cain over Abel because his Luck stands out pretty much, making him a crit demon with killer weapons. There are still just a few enemeys with ranged enemeys in the first chapters but still, you will get steel swords earlier in the game so its good to be ABEL to use those. Its just a slight difference. You can also just use both.
@@justin4fun304 if you think steel swords are better than javelins and steel lances than you should probably play hard 5 even if you get them faster and skill determines crit which makes Abel better for critting with killer weapons by one point on average.
This is pathetic! Caeda is by far the best unit in the game it’s not close! Shadow dragon gameplay heavily favors forged and effective weaponry and warp skipping. Lena is easily top 10 because she has access to the warp staff in chapter 3 which makes things sooo much easier gameplay wise. Also caeda doesn’t fave weapon triangle disadvantage after chapter 3 and her weapon the wing spear is affective against the most common enemy types in the game armor knights and cavalry
@@portalguy2246 statements like this are what happen when people only look at growths and disregard bases, they think units like castor and est are good while disregarding units like jaegan and wendell
@@lancestriker0111 jagen still falls off quickly compared to better units except for his dracoknight class but where did you hear that he was worse then Est makes no sense and who ever said Castor had good growths?
I guess it all depends on your style of play and how lucky you get with the growth, because at least for me Gordin was nothing but a liability, and I deeply regretted wasting my time on him after I realized how much better Castor was) Same goes for Cain and Abel, the latter literally carried me through the game along with Draug (: Also really surprised not to see Est on this top 10, because she outclasses Caeda in every way possible; or Tiki, who's hardly worse than Nagi once she gets herself about 10 levels (: But in any case, it's nice to see other players' opinions and experience, thanks for making the video!)
Caeda has wingspear and Est requires more effort to get to a usable level than Caeda, however Est will most likely turn out being one of your best units if you invest to train her enough since she has high growths but a low starting level
Yury Valkov Cadea outclasses Est in nearly every way possible, she's got perfect availability, and a ridiculous signature weapon, which can be forged, leading to her absolutely murdering horses and armored units. Meanwhile, Est joins way too late in the game to contribute in the way Caeda does.
The problem with Gordin is that the archer class has only 5 Movement, and that's really uncomfortable for traversing, getting in or avoiding enemies. Castor as a Hunter has 6 Movement which is better but he won't be able to promote to a Sniper. I believe it's better train a Cavalier and reclass him into a Sniper on promotion if you want to have a bow user.
Alright some things before I get started: I am assuming no grinding, I am assuming H5, and I am assuming somewhat fast play. Caeda is hands down the best unit in the game, she has good enough bases, great growth rates, perfect availability, an insane personal weapon, and is a flier so she has amazing movement as well. Why has there been no mention mention of wolt and sedgar, their growth rates are insanely, reclass them into generals, have them chip to gain a few levels, and they just begin snowballing so hard. Like, they get ridiculous only a couple of chapters after they join, with very little grinding, while your praising characters like gordin and castor who take like 30 minutes of straight grinding to make decent and have trash bases. Are there still people who think jaegans aren't amazing, because jargon is definitely one of the game's best units. His bases are godly as well as his weapon ranks, he carries the early game, and still stays relevant during the mid game using a forged horseslayer.
That is false. Jagen can still OHKO things with a forged Riderbane a couple chapters before the final map with his raw base stats. Boah and Wendell have decent combat and they can warp.
I didn't mess with Sedgar, but Wolf is my best character every time I play this game. If you immediately switch him to a general and start training up his bow level he can be insanely useful in the end game. Imagine have a unit that takes 0 damage from almost any physical attack whip out the Parthia and start mowing units down from afar. I constantly use Wolf and Draug to hold the front line.

do a video about types of flour
I agree on the units (except for ballistitions but I don't like using them anyway) but in different order and Xane should be up here.

this really help me out! thanks!
I may need to get this game again by the end of the year. It'll likely skyrocket in price after they close the Wii U and 3ds eShop.
No Beck or Jake? Dude, 360 Noscope is just a meta strat, it trivializes the game even on H5.
where's matthis
Where’s Jagen ?
Jagen has really poor stats
Nic Flynn Not in the beginning, on hard 5 you basically need him to get past the early game

Should've included Frey

You can forge the Ridersbane ASAP and warpskip every map to save on its uses. It is a matter of planning and money management.
DissTrack YT Exp matters absolutely nothing in SD. Forges and weapon ranks do.
Caeda can ORKO bosses without growths. Exp really matters nothing.
DissTrack YT The video never mentions the Wing Spear. Boah, Wendell, and Lena don't need forges, they warp people, and they are good at it.
Holy fuck, i have heard ceada called "she-sa" "kay-dah" "se-da" how to fuck do i say her name
i made abel as decoy...
Do a video on brawl!
Wolf and Sedgar suck. They are very reliant on growths and they don't have a lance rank for Ridersbanes

EJ Stephens funny, I tend to prefer Sedgar
