    Being to small is not a fair criticism to make whether it's a male or female making it.

      They specifically stated stock form. The 848 evo definitely needs new suspension/shock. That thing is super stuff even with it dialed all the way down. Proper suspension fitted to your specs makes HUGE difference with this bike.

    One of these things I strongly agree with; it's a challenge to get it in the right gear cornering sometimes, especially compared to the S1000RR which is much more forgiving. It's a challenge to ride no doubt with tall gearing. However, it feels light, incredibly light, so I strongly disagree with them saying it feels heavy. It also is in no way top heavy. (I couldn't believe I was hearing that.) It's brakes are fantastic, it sounds great, and it's the best looking bike of the middleweights.

  • @Elshilai

    Ya bro can't believe they said it felt heavy, im actually having trouble with mines cause if i just peek at the corner it's already leaning towards it, that bike leans fast and come out the corner strong.

    • @michaelthomas4835
      @michaelthomas4835 7 років тому +2

      That was exactly my take. Heavy? Lol No. The only other bike I've ridden which feels lighter is the BMW.

      Michael Thomas the fact that they called a middleweight bike heavy 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Coming off a 2001 Zx7r, this bike handles like a dream. Dad has an Fz10 and I had no troubles sticking on his 6 in the twisties.

    I think this test was centred around a certain bike and its direction more towards street use and then each bike rated after was less street orientated. I'd like to see a professional rider timed on these bikes.

    If you look at there track times they are all over the map ,pretty hard to judge the bikes .

    A professional rider?? Are you serious? You just saw a multi time ama champion in pridmore and a daytona 200 and multi race winner in zempke

    LMAO, this sounds like a series where the riders just hate the bikes they ride.
    The first time i have been on this channel, not a good impression.

    Is there actually a bike that the girl likes? Everything she says about every bike is negative and whiney...

  • @BetamaxBooty
    @BetamaxBooty 11 років тому +7

    why does she spend her whole review talking about how the bike is too big for effective riding? she's the size of a 7th grader; the size argument is irrelevant to the masses--they are not 5-3 105 lbs!

    • @henrysholidays7007
      @henrysholidays7007 6 місяців тому

      I agree. I think she thinks all bikes have to be fluffy and cuddly to ride this bike, so for a proper no holes bared sports bike. and not for fluffy bunny rides.

      couldnt agree more haha a 848 was my first bike some years ago, and was really hard to ride, but when you get used to it, is amazing, confortable, hot, and problematic, but it make you feel special

  • @gelul12
    @gelul12 11 років тому +3

    The bike doesn't handle well? bullcrap, ducati's are known for their agile handling.
    Japanese bikes ride oke but are way more sluggish. I ride my track 848 on track in competitions and japanese bikes can't steer as precise, I notice it every race in a head to head dog fight. My guess is these guys aren't used too riding a ducati/v-twin.

    Unfortunately, the Duc needs more chassis tunning but once that is achieved (with a competent pilot) she can dance!
    For most pilots / commenters- that may not even ride. The limitations described here would be unknown.

    I don't know what this test is about.... "out of the box riding?" I call, you guys are just used to japanese bikes, and got thrown off by the different approach from Ducati .... but the racer who "could't" get the bike on the Edge of the Tyre ?! I call Bullsh*t ! ,even I on the street could get that thing on the side way easier than my Suzuki Bandit 600 ... way easier

  • @henrysholidays7007

    Stink bug is good. Conducive to conering. But Ducati is just plain uncomfortable. Ridden the 1198. Own the Daytona. It's the seat shape that makes all the difference, not the actual height of the vers low handlebars.

    • @michaelthomas4835
      @michaelthomas4835 7 років тому

      My experience was exactly the opposite comfort wise. One of the reasons I bought my 848 was because of how comfortable it was.

  • @hvkv0000

    I call bullshit on this test, a lot of the points they said directly contradicts the set up of the motorcycle, and hence how it would behave. :l I wonder if they realize the people who watch these reviews actually ride motorbikes too.

    Ducati's are way overpriced! They focus too much on styling and not so much on usability and ease of use. Also, too high...
