Z&G is a business, he runs consignment on his eBay store, these are just cards that someone sent to him to sell. Z&G has nothing to do with this, it's likely someone who knows the person who sent the card to him, or the original owner of the cards himself manipulating these sales. They likely have a bunch of PSA 10s for all these cards and are paying up for these initial auctions so they look like "legit" sales, and then they will offload the rest of their PSA 10s

100% correct about sending these cards in. There are probably ten million of these cards out there in PSA 10 worthy condition. What's likely to happen is a few thousand people are going to send these in and in 3 months the market value will be $16 for one in PSA 10 again, which is still 3x too high.

Wrong. Now is the perfect time to grade as we are already in the upswing in the market. The more your cards are valued at the time, the more you'll be paying for grading. As for the "10 million PSA 10 worthy cards" out there, you're hilariously mistaken. I've opened about 150 celebrations packs over the last year and have maybe seen about 3 PSA 10 candidates. The same thing that hiked the 20th anniversary cards into the stratosphere, exists in these packs.. Holo base artwork Charizard. Currently a Charizard will set you back close to $100 raw and about $300 in PSA 10 and those prices aren't letting up. Smart people buy when the market is down and sell when it's high, they don't chase high value cards because they will always be chasing it for a good price and it will eventually get away from them

In PSA 10s metal Charizard $2,000 and metal Pikachu $1,000. Forget it, nearly impossible to get in a 10. If they have a small scratch or two, which nearly all do, PSA send them back as 9. Most of them have chipping on edges or corners too.

I was thinking maybe the seller was selling a sequential set individually and these were some of the last ones to complete the set but the cert numbers dont work.

I had a lot of these cards graded back then and most were 9s so they are tough to get 10s because the corners were always a little off.

PSA 10 light toxtricity was the one that stood out to me. Last sale almost $350
That promo card normally comes off centered and rough on the edges so that one in a 10 is probably hard to get but most definitely not worth 350 😅 maybe 50 lol

I wanted to grade these csrds and have a full celebrations psa 10 collection but i went through a ton and looking at them with my eye everyone has bas corners and wouldn't be a 10 from me just looking at it kinda shocked me so i say its down to then being hard to grade

it has to be something with the pop report right. like these have to be low pop graded cards because who in their right mind would waste money grading them.
Looking at the bidders/sellers seem to be the same on EBAY that you were pointing out. This could be a classic case of shill bidding to make something that does not exist. Classic case of "doctoring" the market to inflate something that is worthless.
I would like to know if it was the same person who bought all these Celebrations cards in PSA 10s or was it different buyers for each one. If it was all bought buy one person that person made a huge mistake. If it was different buyers then damn I need to send mine all in to get graded.

I noticed this trend last year and graded some of my Celebrations holos. I have MANY of these and was only able to send off about 10 of them, of which only 4-5 came back 10s. They are extremely hard to grade, nearly all of them are off center and/or whiting in back corners. Also print lines. That Pikachu by the way, I had dozens of them and not one was psa 10 worthy. QC horrible on these. Good luck if anyone thinks they're going to get a 10 on that one with all that holo on surface and whiting on back and OC.
I had way too many of these that I started giving them away to my kids and their friends, the risk to send them in for grading is just not worth it
I wanted a graded master set of Celebrations. All my classic collection was easy to get 10's. I did all my best of the commons to not get a single 10, and the 10's are stupid expensive. That is why I will not buy them to get a PSA 10 master set.

I graded a crap load of celebrations cause I saw some of the prices on some and I was like no way lol but anything that's not a 10 is a junk slab so definitely a gamble XD 😂

Can confirm its real. I am 2 cards away from completing the full run of Celebrations in PSA 10. The gem rates are insanely hard on the commons. I sent 51 Lunala 15 in and got 1 PSA 10. I sent 81 swsh137 Light Toxtricity in and got ZERO PSA 10. I feel like its easier to get a 10 on a Metal Zard than Celebrations base #12-15.
Pop report is 33 tens out of 257 cards so if you really sent 51 your poor selection of cards to grade probably single handedly tanked the average for the card.

When I opened Celebrations, I put these cards in my bulk box with all commons and uncommons 🤣 like my dad always used to say, there's a sucker born everyday! Boy was he right! This makes me want to vomit 🤢
Sometimes PSA or Other companies will drive the price of cards to NEW ALL TIME HIGHs just so normies would send them in for grading. The Company will drive the price up on cards on purpose so that they get traffic from new dummy graders. I know this is a fact because that is exactly what I would do on a daily bases if I was the owner of these grading companies.

I might be the single biggest believer in Celebrations on the planet, as it's my very favorite set since Evolutions, so I feel like it's about 400-500% underrated in terms of prices in the short term, but these holos are worthless. I stocked up on about 2,000 of these NM holos in 2021 in bulk for 4-5 cents each because I believe they'll be worth $1 each in a few years but this is PURE market manipulation, it will not last. These cards in PSA 10 will NEVER be worth over $30-$35 ea. That being said, I do believe Shining Magikarp, Base Blastoise, Birthday Pikachu, Mew EX, Gold Star Umbreon and Gold Star Greninja will go up 5x+ in value over the next few years. Those got WAY too cheap.

It’s not market manipulation, the supply of slabs dried up bc no one thought to grade them anymore. Don’t “invest” the raw product is not rare
This is just a seller manipulating their auctions, artificially inflating the price, and swindling other potential buyers. That or trying to set a precedent for inflated purchases in the future. Good video though, and just subscribed to your channel!
