Don't paint them first and then try to put them on your nails with gel because they won't fully cure, and you might get an allergic reaction to gel components. If you want to do that then you'll have to glue them down with either those sticker thingys for nails or nail glue, not gel.
@@zamalizm.gonzalezlarregui665 you can paint them first just make sure it’s clear nail tips and you cure really well with them facing up and then take them off the stands and turn them upside and cure really good again.
@@micabrown3719 idk man i used the beetles nail glue to put my nails on after i painted them and i've not yet gotten a reaction after days of having them on. if u wanna try it out and put them on after theyre painted, i suggest making sure theyre fully cured, like cure the top side and the underside and all over 💀💀
Each set could easily last me 3 weeks. But I like to change my nails every 2 weeks🤣🤣🤣 but the beetles glue is sooooo great!!!! The nails are perfect for me! I beat them up with a 1yr old and doing things on a daily and I have never had any issues!!!
I’m late to the party but as a beginner to gel x like nails, I’d recommend using a clear gel glue (which is just base coat) so you could see if there’s air bubble and where your natural nails end so you don’t end up with the excess gel under the extension!
This is so relatable! It takes a few more tries to really understand how to put the gel in and press it down, but I definitely recommend to just keep trying! Maybe, you can buy actual gel nails and use them, instead of the abs plastic. The press method is much easier, but overall, you’ll get the hang of it sooner or later. You’ll always have a little bit of spillage, but not nearly as much as now! I think you were putting way too much gel at the beginning, a little goes a long way with the gel!
Can someone tell me is gel base coat the same as gel glue or can it be used instead I already have a gel base coat? Also can you use acrylic on top to seal in regular nail polish on gelx?

I think you should put it on your nails then only on areas touching your mail with a small peel of gel at end of tip. Put on at 45 degree angle. You can alerts Polish over rather than builder feel all the way up.
In that situation I usually just remove the nail and redo it. My right hand pointer finger loves to last only a week when all of the others stay on for a lot longer so I typically have to fix it once haha
Its kind of like a timer for how long you need to put your finger under it. I think its like 60 seconds or something but i would put each nail under twice just to make sure its fully cured
You should never buff the nail to roughen it up as it does add a bit of shine to the nail and the gel/polish won’t grip properly for them to last a while
A lot of people say buff when they are roughing up the nail surface with a fine grit block, that's what she means here. But you're right, an actual nail buffer tool will bring shine to the nail surface.

The light is not automatic you have to press the button on the inside to it turn first before you put your nail in. It says so in the instructions
