The swing is amazing on this and hearing the low notes dived into so seamlessly too, I wish to get a sound like this as I'm about to be on year two of jazz, and will definitely be tuning in for more
I really hope to develop swing like that soon, first year in jazz and im still finding swing hard to develop and master. Ive been doing a lot of listening and you are swingin my man.
Something that always helped me as a jazz drum set player was to thinking of the spacing of the swing similar to that of a triplet. The harder the swing the more crunched together you make the triplet, and the opposite for lighter swing. It just takes time to develop it, especially learning the style as a whole.
@@jackshapiro4668 Thats how I started to learn! I was actually 14th in the state on jazz bari this year! My feel for swing has come super far, but I will always be chasing the Cuber tone and feel LOL.
i know there are plenty comments about this already, but lovely tone! i have a particularly hard time in the upper register on bari, but you just make it sing! sounds wonderful
Keep it up man, but one tip I could offer is try not to take as many breaths and seriously relax! Moanin' is a song to let loose and have fun! Even still, you're doin' great! *JAZZ*

I know how you feel.😣
It’s difficult to develop swing, so I’m practicing with a lot of CDs(professional jazz players!!).

Thanks for your comment!!😆
I’m using V16 and I recommend it!!
@@nishihasax you’re getting a really nice sound. What would be a good reed combo with the v16 I’m actually looking forward to getting one
Thank you!!😊
I was using Vandoren’s Traditional Reeds or Rico’s Reeds.
Recently, I’m using Marca Jazz.
@@nishihasax is it the v16 B-9

Idk no pink pants or hair, no erratic jumping or dance moves?! Pretty sure you aren't playing this on Bari sax correctly.
I can’t play and dance at the same time😂
