having lunged into chess just over a hundred days ago, i am in awe of hikaru nakamura’s skills in classic, rapid, whatever, but i’ll never come close to understanding why anyone would ever spend more than a minute or two of watching him or absolutely anyone stream, twitch or whatever. he’s one of the greatest players ever. that said, watching anyone nodding their head to nondescript downtempo techno or whatever & just spewing … ok, his attempt to sing just made me realize my life is better without this…
