Mike Shinoda never disappoints! He meant it when he said they're going back to their roots. I can tell why he chose Emily, she's incredibly talented and can sing the different styles of songs that LP has. So glad LP are back.
A friend of mine was angered about the new lead singer and the fact that the drummer had already left. He is a "die hard fan" who doesn´t want LP to dissolve but also can´t be satisfied with new band members :D To me as a lifelong fan, I think it´s okay. I will never celebrate LP like I did in my teens, those times defined my mental state but now I am too mature to be angered by it. I am glad that they can lift a new person while continuing their passion. Win win :) Good luck
