I always come back to twenty one pilots. no matter how many times I say I'm not as in love with it as I used to be, well, I'm lying. I still feel the energy of them. I don't listen much to Twenty One Pilots these days. Their songs remind me of a time when I was suffering alone and death seemed a lot better than the migraine in my head, and now I can't listen to them without remembering the way I felt. I don't feel bad when I listen, I actually feel kinda happy because I realized these songs helped me through a lot when I needed the most and now I'm better, I'm stronger and I have moved on. I know I will never love Twenty One Pilots the way I once did and their songs may not touch my soul as deeply as they once did, but these guys' art actually saved my life. And I couldn't be more grateful for it.

You can see it as actually talking about migranes and houses of gold or the figurative meaning, typically relating to mental illness and depression. This really speaks to me. I've experienced everything this song says. I almost cried the first time I listened to this it realty touched me. Ironically, this song helps get rid of my painful headaches and when I'm sad..this is what cheers me up. I'm glad that at least SOME of todays music had a deeper meaning, instead of just talking about sex and twerking
