@ROBYMSCJ in Europe we generally prioritise travelling. Doesn't matter how much you earn, most people manage to get away. When I was earning £24k I was able to go to Florida for 3 weeks and do all the parks, buy all my Christmas presents, not count pennies at all. I also lived alone so had all my bills to pay, and to look after my cat. Earlier that year I also went to Prague and Berlin as a mini break. I live in Scotland and this was in 2017.
Do you think that’s fair compensation? (Short restarts 😂) I looked it up and it’s approximately $28k-33k USD annually. I hope it’s cheap where they live!

Hers were first year estimates, in euros, and in Ireland. You’re in California (high cost of living). Would that be the main differences?

Is that low for an intern? Some don’t get paid at all. Plus, I wonder if he’s part time.
@@Batman-ld7bm for an intern, that's pretty solid. Approx 2000 EUR gross, take home around 1350.
You can almost pay your rent with that paycheck in Limerick or Dublin.
