this was actually beautiful. I cant remember the last time I played Work At A Pizza Place and this brought me so much joy. I remember me playing it with my brother whilst we got mad at the people who would put the pizzas on the floor. who knew a simple game would make up so much of my childhood. I will never forget the times I laughed, cried, even rage quitted (yes I was a rage quitter) whilst playing a game. if I were to log on to roblox right now and see my old account which I sadly got signed out and couldn’t remember I’m sure I would be hit with a wave of nostalgia. just like how this video did. what I would give just to go back and see what my little self did. when I was dumb and naive. I was born in 2008, and I can remember playing Roblox for the first time back in 2012 when I was about 4 years old.
I miss those days where Roblox didn't have Bots, Edgy kids (Slenders), craploads of drama, a moderation team that barely even exits, and more.
But hey, nothing can stay the same forever.
I don't play Roblox anymore now, mainly because I have grown out of it.

At what point do we stop believing this though? People said the exact same thing about Fortnite chapter 1, and when they brought it back last month it showed how much better the simpler concept worked. While Roblox is a lot more socially-oriented, I believe the simplicity of gameplay in early Roblox is why a lot of people miss it.

I still remember, on a quiet night, first descovering roblox. My first game, a fun waterslide game where at the start you slided at any color slide, then explore new slides and go into them.
I also remember when i used the work at pizza place sauce to fake being dead to see if in the game there were ambulances lol.

People say old roblox is gone forever but, people can still play it.
There are lots of experiences dedicated to giving the old vibes back to players, and it works.
Games like Retrostudio,Super Nostalgia Zone, and 2007 Roblox(very cool) are a sign of that.

I remember playing roblox back in 2014 when I was younger. It still had guests, the OOF sound, and lots more. It was colorful and bright and I would be playing for hours upon hours. I was always happy whenever I played it. Now, I play roblox rarely. It’s just not as fun and the games aren’t as entertaining as they used to be. Some things have to be left forgotten.

Just wish roblox had the devs from 2013. They were so passionate and with the resources roblox has now, I honestly think roblox could be one of the best games. But now every dev is just money hungry and makes the same old simulator or anime game.

The music takes me back to when I was a kid, playing Minecraft with my dad, and I can’t remember the other one I think it was cod zombies and you’d fight zombies on a titanic, ik some of the games weren’t good alone or what eve your opinion is; But remembering those times, a simpler time. Looking back at this comment, I was actually lying a little bit, I first played it late November 2006 under the name "Gebb" after a friend of mine from school told me about it, I didn't really understand what was so interesting about it (back then it was Halo 2, Counter Strike Source and my personal favourite back then was Soldat). I gave it a shot when I got home, booted up my horrible Mac laptop and started trying it out, I didn't like it at first, graphics were terrible and there was only like 8 maps in total back then, I slowly warmed up to it though, I met some cool people through it too but late into 2007, the people I used to play with stopped playing by then, Halo 3 came out and new games were just more interesting then this inferior game where you walked around as a plastic irregular cube. I played on and off until 2011, which at that point I was using a completely different account because I forgot the password to my original. Sadly my original account "Gebb" was removed and someone took that name sometime between late 07-09, since that was when I created my new account which is still around called "Patblox123".
Although my original account was deleted, you can still find my friend that intoduced me to the game all those years ago under the name "Don", his account would've been created a few days before my original one.
Sorry for the random rant, I see old roblox seems to be getting alot of interest recently, although not sure why, really wasn't anything special hahaha.

I may have not been alive when roblox looked like this, but this still sends chills down my spine when I look at this gameplay, I see how OG players felt back then, when e dating and stupid NSFW games didn't exist on roblox at all. Back then, it was so much more basic, just a block game to socialize with other people and make friends, now we have these people that make roblox looks like a dating website, when in reality it was a good kid-friendly game. If I could pick anytime to play roblox, I'd pick 2010-2012.

I did not grow up in this age but I wish I did. Kids like us are way to spoiled now and I would like to have grown up in this age. Although I still play newer Roblox games, I wish I had the opportunity to play these. I feel sad but happy for Roblox. It had it’s prime years but now I think the quality of people on it have degraded. It had it’s ups and downs but it did a great job. Thank you Roblox.

I started joining 2 years later after 2010 and the first game I played is roblox high school, it was such a wonderful game I’ve played before going to an actual high school in 9 years, I miss those old days in 2012. My current account was created in 2017, though I’ve played Roblox earlier with different accounts. I didn’t get to experience the OLD old Roblox, but still old Roblox. I miss staying up late on my mum’s computer to grind Lumber Tycoon 2, or the old conveyor ovens in Work at a Pizza Place. Makes you wish you hadn’t taken it for granted, but it’s hard not to. I still play Roblox, but not as frequently. Childhood is a wonderful thing.

It's crazy how some of those games people still play now, sadly all of them have been even the slightest bit updated only so that people would still want to play. And one update we'd never forget was the removal of the oof sound.
i painfully cant go revisit most of the games i used to play when i first made my account (2013) because they were taken down due to the changes made to filtering enabled. a lot of pretty creative games got shelved because people didnt know how to keep up with the constantly growing and changing developer platform.
You know, I could have felt nostalgia for this. But the problem is, how can I remember a time I never even existed?

I mostly remember the old RPG games back then. Being yelled at by my mom to turn off the game, back when you couldn’t save any progress so you’d lose everything. I remember pre 2010 as well with the Domo craze and the “sk8er” caps with shaggy hair.

im a 2018 player of roblox (where the chaos and controversy all started.) and I’ve gotta say. even though I’ve never played old roblox before I still get a somewhat cold or nostalgic feeling to this video. roblox looked great back then. No weird cnp’s or slenders. no rthro, no 19+ games, no voice chat, no facetiming stuff, no like camera tracking. just the good old tap to move, the few thousands and millions of games made to play, and old chat, leaderboard, and hot bar. I’ve never played old roblox but it seems like a good time.
