Well, there's no scientific evidence that I know of yet for burn-in if that's what you're talking about... the brain does get used to the sound, though, but that's true with not just headphones... that's with everything...our brains are very good at it, in fact. But that doesn't change the sound of the headphone. A comparison a week later is never a bad idea ...you get to live with it for a while, and you can provide more insight into the experience perhaps....

Actually I feel that the most honest impressions are the ones that you have right off the bat..
You unbox it, put it on.. try it for 1 hr or so.. give your impressions.
Atleast sonic ones.
If you sit with a product for too long, you kind of get attached to it.
Even if it's terrible, you'd still dilute your criticism...
