In the $100 price range is a dogs breakfast for someone to bring a well tuned set that has the comfy factor.
150 get the [playstation pulse elite
I think Sennheiser tried to get as close as possible with the 560s
AKG 361?
Loved the introduction DMS!
Hope you guys can get the Fiio JT1 in for a review! Under $80 closed backs. Got lucky and got em for only $40 right when they released late last year.
Best secret..they are simply the best intro headphone for their price with some kik ass punchy base without bloat..nice mids plus clean treble. Agree..highly recommend.
@user-ot6ti9mu3i agreed! Don't have a lot of experience with $300 and up market, so that's why i would love to hear their take on these. But yeah, more than happy with my JT1. Spot on with punchy bass without it being too muddy.
The quality closed back with superb tuning you should check.out is the Tago Studios T3-01. In my opinion it is excellent.
The intro was fantastic, somehow I felt like watching GxAce vid. Great review as well!
0:25 Harockdyne?
any updates on when we might be hearing about the omega?
DMS, what about the Zeus Elite ?
Might wanna review the FIIO JT1, it pretty good for an under $100 set.
Hey guys, any chance you could do a review on the Tecsun HP-300?
I haven't heard the black holes. But they seem very similar to the Athenas. Which are my all time favorite headphone.
I don't know why you didn't review the Athena or Zeus Elite.
I paid my Sundara Closed 160€ new taxes included, and with a little of EQ, it's a budget gem IMO
I'd like to see a video about commuter (wired) heapdhones, or 'best headphones to take to work that aren't ANC'
i just got the k361s couple days ago and it's scary how close they are in sound to my hd599s, it surprised me quite a bit
some people say they don't seal properly at the bottom so i would try them in a store before actually getting them, changing pads should also be super easy since they're held by just a seam in the cups
I love my Bose QC-25., which I always buy used. They don't do super low or super high, but other than that, they are surprisingly balanced and comfortable.
Have you bought it multiple times?
@@MrEvan1932 Yes, for different rooms, for playing the piano, for watching TV, and to have a spare one in case I break one.
Is this a zeos and harmonicdyne collab?)) because i swear to god i saw him pointing at similar looking headphones on his head and telling us he has got a headphone collab comming
When are we going to see the red giant the white dwarf and the pulsar?
So it's a big boomy warm headphone like the focal clear.😊
Thank god I got over closed back headphones when I got into IEMs.
Totally agree that the z7mk2 verdict. Those are my least favourite headphones and I did not think that would happen with a Sony
For a affordable closed-back with proper audiophile performance and a genuine neutral tuning, I can recommend the ETA Mini Closed, it my not look impressive being a boutique product made by real audiophiles but it truly delivers on everything else.
Oratory's measurement does not really look all that "neutral" to me. 500 bucks also isn't, strictly speaking, affordable.
I'm still waiting to see HD490 Pro
I'm aiming to have a video out here on Sunday!
Love mine@@DMS3TV
If Sennheiser tunned a HD599 like the PC38x or a HD6xx and sold it at the same price they would win the budget market
Sennheiser have a student store and sell 560s at the price of a 599 there
@@18yearsoldnot Tried it had to return it because of the tuning, the treble was too harsh for me, it is a little too neutral and cold not a sound that appeals to everyone. It is also slightly less comfortable than the HD599. the hd6xx and the pc38x on the other hand have a tuning that is easy to listen to
@@AkaSora96 I partially agree. I don’t have the 560s but I have the 6xx and the 660s and for me the 6xx was also a much more pleasant listen, however, if you have a very specific type of amp, the 660s can sound very relaxing. I believe this can apply to 560s - point being that 560s and 660s are mistaken for being harsh when actually they are just analytical and revealing of your equipment. The proof for this is that if you look at the frequency response graphs online, the 6xx isn’t much different to the other headphones. My amp I use which is smooth is an older fully class a solid state amp that you have to let warm up for a couple hours… arcam r head, with an arcam sa30 integrated amp, which is a $1500 amp/dac chain… but yeah, revealing headphones can be smooth is my point. On a budget though I’m not sure how I would replicate it - probably not even possible with cheaper dongle dacs
Hi DMS!
Please do a review for Fiio JT1
The bass drones a bit. The mids are ok. Not much treble extension. Like cheap phones to sweat on during the summer. With a fan blowing? Perfect!!
HarmonicDyne Zeus Elite.
I prefer it over ANY IEMs ❤
"They were making better headphones 35 years ago" BURN
If you like those Sony headphones, please please consider trying the JVC Victor Studio headphones. I don't know why NOBODY talks about these. They are better than the Sonys. Major reviewers like headphones show guys and everyone else refuse to review it no matter how I contact them or leave comments. They have won the jp awards like 3 years in a row, not the Sonys.
Aune Ar5000 please
Love mine.
Sometimes you need to risk it!
which is the best basshead closed back under 300 dollars?
Maybe the ZMF Fostex T50rp
I'll throw in the FiiO JT1 (comfy, nice tuning apart from a tad boomy) 79$.
Sundara closed (also comfy except you got dumbo ears, slams with EQ but tuning otherwise is either hit or miss) 169$~
Hifiman HE-R9 (headband comfort is debatable, cups are large and comfy, bass cannons but might be sibilant in the beginning) 99$~
@@HATEregelt no chifi please
@@5harpy il have a look
I’d also recommend an amp with eq. You basically want to eq down sibilance and shoutiness and then also increase the overall listening volume.
Nice review! Why are you're channel always skipping Fiio headphones? Strange...
Strange how you think they would be positive about them. Resolve did a live review of the planar model, and he was very negative about it on the fact its FR is incoherent. Are you confused what channel this is? They don't bow to manufacturers like most reviewers.
@@enjoshi-godrez8775negative reviews is oltho a reviews
@@enjoshi-godrez8775 non complimentary reviews is also interesting
I gotta be the only person in the world who actually enjoys the sound on these. They are super good for immersive gaming. Harmonicdyne is crazy with the way they are marketing it though.
Let me shout it into the void once again. SENNHEISER, WE NEED A CLOSED-BACK 600 SERIES HEADPHONE PLEASE!
I don't understand why people keep recommending the k361... The difference between the k361 and the k371 was immense when I tested both, the k371 was sooo much better. The k371 was clearer, not muddy, had better detail, resolution, etc, it was JUST better. I still wouldn't recommend the k371, unless you don't mind the hassle with the fit and care a lot about the aesthetics.
To be fair, this does look like it should EQ alright
Nothing escapes a black hole; Not even plastic. The only exception is Rob Hawke Radiation.
The same price you can get the k361 or for 50 bucks you can get the sr850... And the iem space is an odd thing I do not want to dive into
Well probably you should.
For 80$ you could get performance equivalent to 200$ headphones..
Affordable and easy way to get great isolation and sound, even the 20 dollar range is impressive these days.
@@chancemackey7100not comparable though. Not everyone wants something jammed in their ears all day.
totally agree, market it honestly, because I wont be buying from you again if you lie, and HarmonicDyne has done that before so thats enough for me, wont be buying from them.
FiiO JT1s are untouched under $100. Maybe even $200
lol "accurate" in relation to what?
might as well get some R9's... at least that way you can hear the ocean /s
Good morning ❄️☕️
For that money…you can get a decent iem …..just say’n.
Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro is still a good shout and not difficult to find one used
It will just cost them money on returns
The man has every headphone under $10,000 yet chooses to use an $80 pair of Sony’s….
Let that sink in audiofiles.
It's called addiction. It makes you act irrationally.
You can't prove that a black hole is a single point in space.
My final brain cell is a single point in space.
@@DMS3TV I'm sure it's small but I doubt that it's that small.
Athena's are better, but not sold anymore.
Yikes.
"tell people what it is....tell people this is very boomy headphone focused on a boomy midrange..."
wth is wrong with the reviewer.
Boomy and muddy. So a worse Meze 99 Classics?
Audeze Maxwell comes to mind... not 100$ but still "cheap".
Audeze is overhyped and overpriced, LCD line in special..
even jbl 710bt is better than this
Im sick of these Chinese companies releasing random crap and giving it a fancy name to make people buy it.
