He pitched a great game, the other day.
The entire team is young outside of Joey Votto and Curt Casali. EDLC gets all the pub but Matt McClain, Spencer Steer, JT Friedl, Rake Fraley and J. India are balling.
When the Big Red Machine was at there peak even when trailing everyone knew the Reds would come back and win. You get that feeling with this great Reds team.
I watched every single one of these games and this video still got my heart rate up!

@@domthagreat4065 As good as the rest are, Benson has that feeling like he's going to be consistently solid for years and years. And there's room on any team for a guy like that. Good average, good defense, good power, and he gets invested in it.
I am a Padres fan but the Reds took the series from them last week. I am not upset, however, since I was born in Dayton. I would love to see the Reds go all the way.

And the thing that I love about this team is that they are getting contributions up and down the order. Fraley, Stephenson, these rooks, Votto is getting some timely knocks, India the same.

I have not watched Baseball in years. Because of the Reds I am all in. I live in Dallas so I won’t get a chance to see the Reds. I may have to fly into to see them. I love this team

It’s fun seeing the Reds having fun & playing meaningful baseball. I’m a Rays fan but my grandfather & my dad are from Cincinnati, born & raised so I’m happy for them. I hope they continue their success

It all started with that comeback win on the day Elly was called up. That was the most electric game I’ve ever been too and the stadium was only half full. Massive comeback from down 5 with a walkoff by the other rook to finish it off. And they haven’t looked back since.
They also have the best announcer I've ever heard

18 - 4 in their last 22. Since Elly and McClain got called up the Reds have been dominate, not "slightly below average". Such a misleading stat for this Reds team cause the pitchers responsible for that negative run differential from early in the season are already not on the team anymore. Check their run differential since Matt McClain and Elly de la Cruz joined the team. As Benson said "this team is up to something". Only way you think they're below average is if you haven't watched them play and it's a coping mechanism to convince yourself they aren't better than your team. Energy with this team and city is off the charts. And they don't even have two of their best three pitchers right now. Scary thing is they're about to get even better once those guys get healthy.
