Great video, clear instructions. I've been trying to replace my front shocks on a 2007 F-150. Purchased Motorcraft coil springs and both front shocks, but have called nearly ever shop in the greater ATL area to compress them together - so far no luck.. Got any reccomendations on shops that will do this kind of thing? I've looked into freelancers also no solid options.
Thanks for the kind words, appreciate the feedback. If your normal auto shops are not willing to help you out with swapping over the springs, I would suggest trying a local 4 Wheel/Off-road shop. They are fitting lift kits and doing suspensions on trucks everyday, so they usually have the right equipment. Here are a couple shops north of Atlanta- g.co/kgs/eebKyUu g.co/kgs/GkczZqo Good luck on your F150 project, let us know how it goes. Cheers!
Here in Massachusetts if I went to a shop to have them compress my shocks if they didn’t tell me to kick rocks they’d keep me their 6 hours before they got to me.
Sorry to hear that, you can definitely purchase the pre-loaded ones so you won't have to deal with that part. We are fortunate to have a few good guys in our area that can help with these kinds of tasks. Thanks again for hanging out, Cheers!
Not to bad there either overall! Great video!
Thanks for the feedback, we still have some more to do on the front but we will add that to another video.
Cheers!
