Excellent vid and repaired my top to a perfection! Sidebar: A new top is a very expensive and complex part or group of parts. This is an easy fix for a few buck to avoid a not-so-easy 3 thousand+ dollar repair

ok... nice video first time out.... BUT!!!!! NEVER USE A DAMN STAPLER!!!!!!!! LEARN TO SEW YOU FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!! This is such an easy sew job, don't ruin this repair by using a stapler

Thanks Michael and that's a great tip! With the elastic removed as demonstrated here, yes, it can be easily sewn in with a needle and thread.
