Senator Padme Amidala served her republic dutifully, but that republic had died, and in its place stood an empire all she had left was her family but when she sought the embrace of Anakin Skywalker, she was instead strangled by Darth Vader
07:16 It is very interesting that Anakin, now someone with unlimited arrogance and no control of his emotions, still tried another way instead of fighting. He, like Commander Cody, recognizes Kenobi's power and how difficult it is to destroy him. This is also shown in the movie but more lightly, Anakin loses it only when he hears his master's lightsaber igniting. Both versions are ok but this one is better, highlighting Obi-Wan Kenobi as a top warrior.
The novelization makes Obi-Wan vs. Vader more personal than in the movie. To me, the movie focuses on Obi-Wan fighting to destroy the Sith, as in the novelization, the fight seems to be more about Padmé herself.
Anakin wanted to avoid fighting Kenobi because of the brotherly love they had with one another. His closest friend, the last person he would want to fight even kill. So when Obi-wan ignites his lightsaber it hurts him and pisses him off
He's more self-aware about his actions, but also more subdued by the impulses of the Force. Sudden rage consumes his judgement to the point of madness.
I've seen some people speculate that Anakin suffers from borderline personality disorder. In my experience, there are moments people like that can swing to sudden extremes of anger and coldness, even to loved ones. Though they often deeply regret it afterwards.

@SuperSaiyanD48 If that is the case then all sith are like that because the "Darth" persona is essentially another personality completely. I view it more like addiction, that's the way George Lucas explained the dark side. Palpatine was willing to be succeeded by a chosen one level force user that or he planned to steal Anakin's body to become the 100% strongest force user of all time. Honestly why he didn't just clone Anakin's body and either transfer himself or Darth Vader into the new body is beyond me (hence why him having essence transfer is a major plot hole in both canon and legends)
@@buntsbooks So Anakin Killed him before he could learn how to say Padme from death. Sidious never really plan to help Padme but Anakin didn't know that and would immediately regret a decision.
Anakin should of told Padme that by going there she is endangering there unborn children and that is why he told her to wait for him not show up on Mustafar yeah.
Being married to a Sith Lord is the perfect nightmare for an idealistic politician.
and expecting TWO kids from him!

The novel is much more detailed and sophisticated.

GOD DAMN! This writing is good 👍
Man this Anakin in the novel is so cold hearted, at least in the movies he had some bit of compassion when turned to the dark side.

5:06 "No!" 😂😂
Amazing scene with the added details, and the sound effects are great too!
Anakin's plan to overthrow Palpatine is actually interesting. If Palpatine had still really believed in the Rule of Two it may have worked.
(*spoilers*) Interestingly, the Revenge of the Sith game included a scene where Anakin murders Palpatine.
Anakin was taught by his whole life - mostly thanks to Palpatine - that the victor is always right and justified, if he brings results.

This is amazing and can you upload anakin being denied the rank of master by the coucil?
Sure, I'll try.
I never cared for Anakin’s chosen dialogue to padme in this chapter, it just seems to go against his narrative of saving her.
Dark side makes you crazy.
Lucas dropped the ball on this film and trilogy.
You can't put the full blame on him. The crew and the people he approached deserved some of the blame as well.
@@buntsbooks Sure thing. They might as well remake the prequels in animation.
