Honestly love victor is great and I hope we get a season 3 fast because this ending made me depressed. While you wait, you could watch sex education, never have I ever and grand army on Netflix. The main storylines aren't lgbtq but they have some good ones. Also Skam, don't know if you heard of it, it's a Norwegian tv show with a lot of remakes from different countries, and the 3rd season follows a gay storyline (in scam Italy it's the 2nd). Those are just some that came to my mind but there's more.
Nick did say they were hoping the show to have many many season and continue to tell different stories. So if we ever don't get a new season, it's for reasons outside of their control :(

When I thought Anthony Turpel said it (who compared to the other two is more impartial) my heart dropped lol but ultimately I don't think any of the actors know exactly what's gonna happen next. The writers could use Rahim as a new love interest for Victor or they can use it to solidify how he felt about Benji all along. The only thing that calms me down is the door scene at the end. That's for sure Benji's. The color looks exactly like the style and color of the outside of his house (all the walls had that black tint to them), it even fits the bougie aesthetic his kitchen has. Aaand the whole visualize your future thing they did, it'd be weird if after hanging out with Rahim twice he would see his entire future with him. It'd make more sense to imagine your future with someone you have history with and someone you said you loved. Sorry this was way too long, I'm having a moment 🤣

I actually haven't seen it yet because I'm only on episode 5 (but of course couldn't resist reading all of the fan reactions and spoilers). But I know there is a lot of speculation going on in fandom about whose door that is. And a lot of emotion in general, including in myself. I cried at the ends of both episodes 2 and 4, and actually watched episode 2 a second time and cried again. Tears of joy and nostalgia (I'm about to turn 59). It is way too soon, in what I hope will be a saga, for Victor and Benji to start growing apart (if growing apart is portended). EDIT: I updated the original comment to be clear about which Anthony.
there was an interview from EW with Elizabeth from the show. She did talk about a third Season but that's all. I'm sure there will be. And they did everything they could to keep any clues or hints to who's doorbell Victor rang. Someone suggested the cover for the doorbell would be more fitting to Rahin's home than Benji's. But when it comes to the time line. Did Rahim leave right after he revealed his feelings to Victor?
I'm sorry but I didn't really see the romantic chemistry between V x R. It was more of a really great friendship where they can support and understand each other's life. I still think Vic absolutely adores and loves Benji I really hope they manage to work it out but i don't have high hopes 😔 Feel like they'll take the easy route and do 2 minorites instead

I definitely need at least a season 3, hopefully more. This show means so much to me, and is literally the best show ever!!! I’ve watched season 1 at least 13 times over, and I still feel so excited watching it. Season 2 was AMAZING!!!!!

The show needs to be an hour long. You can't develope all those characters and story lines enuff in 28mins. Benji's character is a clear example of that. 💕

I was so happy that Victor and Rahim were gonna have a platonic friendship because that would have been amazing to see, but no they had to make another love triangle for the sake of drama when we already had 2 others... I'm a bit annoyed that they made the last few episodes just full of stupid cliches and so much unnecessary drama when the rest of the season, especially the first 6 episodes were very well written

Even the scene where they went to a bar didn’t bother me, but when there was obvious tension about them saying goodnight that’s when it got annoying. And then having him kiss Victor made me so mad. It would have been so much better if they had just stayed platonic friends

But they had enough drama like victor parents, benji AA and the basketball team. they doesn't need to add a love interest just for the sake of the drama. and most of gay shows or couple always been associated with third person. why not just give other conflicts and give them happy ever after like 90s straight tv shows? is it really that hard?
They were toxic in S1 as well. They started when both of them were in another relationship, then argued for days, until out of the blue one of the two dumps his partner and kisses the other. The show barely gave any reasons for them to be together either. It's mostly just Victor likes guys and Benji is a hot guy.
I honestly love Michael as Victor. But it’s one thing playing a character that’s gay but not being gay himself and actually being able to relate and understand thoroughly how it is. Although hearing how open he is and understanding when he talks about friends he knows that are gay and what he observes is comforting.
Beautiful memories that are still fresh! I haven't gotten to the end yet. On episode 5--am trying to space it out. But I've already cried. The endings to episodes 2 and 4 were just beautiful. In fact, I watched ep. 2 a second time and cried again. And I've already shed some tears just thinking about the demise of "Venji" after reading spoilers and fan reactions. No! Please, no. #TeamVenji

They spend so much time apologizing and trying to fix things they broke. Both might be able to grow so much more with a more stable relationship.

Everyone is debating over who victor would choose, Benji or Rahim ? But why should Benji forgive Victor ? Victor blabbed about benji's darkest secret to a guy he met couple of days back and as soon as Benji asks for a break Victor hangs out with this new guy, goes to a gay bar, a wedding where they eventually kissed !! In S1 Benji stopped the kiss with victor because he was in a relationship (toxic one at that) with Derek but victor didn't do that with Rahim which made me lose all respect for Victor.

I feel of all the characters , Benji is the one with less space and the least interesting story line. It is such a pity! George is so under used in the show, such a great actor, he gives such a powerful performance but he is almost like just an eye candy in the show. **SPOILER**** If it is not Benji opening the door for Victor at the end of episode 10, I am done with Love, victor. If George os not in season 3, I’m out too..
I think the cliffhanger was done so they could see the audience reaction before making the decision. I guarantee it'll be Benji but I'm sure they wanted to test the waters by seeing how people would react

The writers have to come up to something to mess the relationships otherwise it would be just couples sipping coffee and going to the movies. I feel the idea was to test if the audience would root for rahim and if so, cut Benji from the show and if not, then cut Rahim or maybe keep him as a secondary character.

They didn’t build Benji’s character like that from the beginning and It was disturbing to watch. It could’ve been handled a lot better but the season in general was great. Issues kept getting more serious and the sex life of a gay couple was actually portrait (unlike those shows that never show gay couple have sex on the screen, we usually see them laying on the bed shirtless) Im looking forward for season 3. And I hope that the door that Victor was knocking was Benji’s door because I would be furious If we don’t get to see more of this couple

But they had enough drama like victor parents, benji AA and the basketball team. they doesn't need to add a love interest just for the sake of the drama. and most of gay shows or couple always been associated with third person. why not just give other conflicts and give them happy ever after like 90s straight tv shows? is it really that hard?

They were toxic in S1 as well. They started when both of them were in another relationship, then argued for days, until out of the blue one of the two dumps his partner and kisses the other. The show barely gave any reasons for them to be together either. It's mostly just Victor likes guys and Benji is a hot guy.
Because that's the reality. Relationships can be toxic.

I honestly love Michael as Victor. But it’s one thing playing a character that’s gay but not being gay himself and actually being able to relate and understand thoroughly how it is. Although hearing how open he is and understanding when he talks about friends he knows that are gay and what he observes is comforting.

Agreed they need to work a bit on their communication but that doesn't mean they can't work out. This might not be everyone's cup of tea but it's mine. Hope I make sense😊
@@ameyoza8333 made perfect sense, though I'm not sure it will work that way in this case. They both have so much going on and they kinda tend to make things worse for each other. They spend so much time apologizing and trying to fix things they broke. Both might be able to grow so much more with a more stable relationship.

I feel of all the characters , Benji is the one with less space and the least interesting story line. It is such a pity! George is so under used in the show, such a great actor, he gives such a powerful performance but he is almost like just an eye candy in the show.

@@dustinnelsonmusic I agree. any tv show story line, straight or gay, is an endless break up and make up. It goes till the story has no where else to go and the show is cancelled. The writers have to come up to something to mess the relationships otherwise it would be just couples sipping coffee and going to the movies. I feel the idea was to test if the audience would root for rahim and if so, cut Benji from the show and if not, then cut Rahim or maybe keep him as a secondary character.

Me watching this when I just finished S3
They made Benji look like a jerk just to make us believe that there could be a chance for Victor to end up with that Rahim kid. I mean the first 4 episodes were sooo great. And then the whole understanding and kind Benji started to act like a crazy person and then they introduced Rahim. They didn’t build Benji’s character like that from the beginning and It was disturbing to watch. It could’ve been handled a lot better but the season in general was great. Issues kept getting more serious and the sex life of a gay couple was actually portrait (unlike those shows that never show gay couple have sex on the screen, we usually see them laying on the bed shirtless) Im looking forward for season 3. And I hope that the door that Victor was knocking was Benji’s door because I would be furious If we don’t get to see more of this couple
And also I would love to see Victor as a mentor to Rahim. I would’ve made sense a lot. But they cut it off so quickly. Such a shame :(
