Awesome!!! I have a 4-set Kou Xiang but I really don't like the fact that they are 'random' tuned. This is an awesome idea. They pretty much HAVE to be amplified to get a decent sound out of them though, unless you're really playing for yourself in quiet surroundings. You're an amazing player of everything man :) keep it up!
@godak i do have nails on my right hand, because i'm guitar player, but on this instrument i play mostly with fingertips to make sound more soft. So i wouldn't say nails is important to play it.
I find most jaw harps annoying to listen to because it is very repetitive and players don't seem to know how to get more than a scale of notes out of the harp, but you on this 7 bladed one impressed from the very beginning. Bravo!
@nadishana your playing is outstanding, and yes i understand musical instruments are very difficult to make. they should be worth much more money than the cost materials. however, I do think that you seem to charge a lot more for your products than if someone were to go through a different retailer. Do you make these yourself? once again, excellent videos, your water Udu playing is my favorite
@nadishana dont get me wrong, i think the video is absolutely mind blowing, i've never seen such an instrument or style of playing an instrument. Its just it looks simple to build, and the materials look inexpensive, correct me if im wrong, maybe the wood is from some enchanted forest and the metal is forged from a unicorns horn, i mean how else can you explain charging nearly 100 dollars for something that looks like its materials value is less than 1 dollar?
The reverb effect i added in video editing program. The instrument still sound like this when it's not amplified (except reverb). The volume level is the same like on every normal kou xiang.
Mouth harps just echo in the mouth. If they hit the teeth, it can hurt and is a thunk, not a note, lol. (from experience with a metal 1 leaf harp) You use the cavern of your mouth and tongue to make the sounds.
Amazing send us info on how we can get one of these. Our human beat Box Senistar would probably rip the planet with one of these. Come see him on our channel now!
Cool. I don't know why you say this is well tempered though. Well temperament is an irregular circular tuning, as opposed to the modern equal temperament, Pythagorean tuning, meantone temperament, or just intonation, not to exclude the many other tunings.
wow!!!! THAT is waaay cool! Great sound.. kind of like a tuneable jaw- HArp. what is the origin of this instrument.. ie. what country does it come from? Verrry cool..I think I WANT one!!
Wow, you are such amazing musician. I make kalimbas, and I think quite good ones, but it looks that you would play garden rake better than I play my best overtone tuned kalimba. For my excuse and luck, Iam profesional maker not player haha.
and when the first bomb will fall...you and your damned synthesizer will remain without power...and the first note in the night will come from nadishana and his instruments....
Check out this jaw harp video:

What a joy to hear this ancient instrument played so well! Bravo! Now I must get one.
temu
using your mouth as a phaser. this is like an acoustic synthesizer in a way.
Like a talk box.
Once again, you've proved that you're a musical genius. Keep it up!
This kou xiang from china.

@audioscience666
it's natural sound, no phaser effect or autowah
I cant get enough from all these instruments in your channel!
Уникальный человек-на всем играет.
Super spaced out,yet soul revitalized
I've a synth with Dan Moi voice. I will use it with new respect for the idioms you just taught me, thank you!
@godak
i do have nails on my right hand, because i'm guitar player, but on this instrument i play mostly with fingertips to make sound more soft. So i wouldn't say nails is important to play it.
Also, as I discover the world of musical instruments, I feel more and more that I was robbed by my music teacher at school
i like this vid, reminds me of a few Shpongle songs. i think Shpongle used a vocoder but there are some definite timbral similarities. thumbs up
i feel like it's sphongle mixed with the age of empires soundtrack.
Wow... cool instrument and good player.
Where can I buy this?
Bla Blubbi There's a link to the website in the description.
I don't press it to the teeth or to the lips. I just keep it in front of my mouth, since the tongues make sound without fixing them to the teeth
@tj1990 wow, the most ridiculous comment for my videos! Thank you, you made my day :D
Очень завораживающая музыка. Буду ждать Новых композиций.
I find most jaw harps annoying to listen to because it is very repetitive and players don't seem to know how to get more than a scale of notes out of the harp, but you on this 7 bladed one impressed from the very beginning. Bravo!
You haven't listened to very good harp players then. Norwegian munnharpe players for instance are some of the best players in the world. Pure melodic
Naw I've cringed with jaw harpists before too...
nadishana soy argentino y admiro muchísimo la capacidad de manipular todos los instrumentos que tenes ojalas algún día pueda manipular solo la mitad
me encantaría verte junta yann tiernsen haciendo algo
me encanta la capacidad qu tiene de innovar con cosas nuevo

Love this!!

Amazing sounds like digital. If you told me this was synth, without seeing the video I’d believe you
The reverb effect i added in video editing program. The instrument still sound like this when it's not amplified (except reverb).

Balkan 7/8 on Chinese Jaw harp))
Bravo!
Sounds like a talk box🔥cool sound
Brings me to the old days 👴🏻
A friend of mine just received his. Gonna go check it out tonight! :) Might buy one for myself!
Крутотень!!! первый раз вижу такую разновидность варгана..) Классная игра!!
@tropicalfrancky
we ship from Germany, EU
Nadishana are they still available?
Is it vibrating againat the teeth, or is the sound just echoing in your mouth?
absolutely phenomenal
Website says unavailable to buy. (thumbs down)
You probably get this question a lot, but how many instruments do you know how to play?
Do you need nails to play this instrument? Does it make it sound better in any way if you do have nails rather than plucking it with your fingers?
どのように演奏しているのか気になります!
Can you pick what key you want when you buy one, and i think your awesome. love your udu playing :)
This sounds somewhat familiar..
What song is it?
that's brill!
Incredible!
Seems like an electronic keyboard, fantastic!!!
@tj1990 it's fine, play it on synth, nevermind. And one time try to make it. Then you'll answer your question yourself
I really want to hear someone play hungry like the wolf on one of these.
This belongs in a progressive death metal song.
very unique and different. i love it

Love the phallic design
Looks more female than male, heh heh!
Amazing send us info on how we can get one of these. Our human beat Box Senistar would probably rip the planet with one of these. Come see him on our channel now!
you can purchase from us, it's available. Please send me a message.
Hey man, I want one! Where can I get it from?
Cool. I don't know why you say this is well tempered though. Well temperament is an irregular circular tuning, as opposed to the modern equal temperament, Pythagorean tuning, meantone temperament, or just intonation, not to exclude the many other tunings.
i like the changing tune
wow!!!! THAT is waaay cool! Great sound.. kind of like a tuneable jaw- HArp. what is
the origin of this instrument.. ie. what country does it come from? Verrry cool..I think
I WANT one!!
Excelente!
Wow 🤩✨
Could someone say me which is the tuning of each one of the blades of this kou xiang?
Check the description bro

Nice music 🎵

This is love making music.
No an acoustic synthesizer is like this.
Superb!

Wow, you are such amazing musician. I make kalimbas, and I think quite good ones, but it looks that you would play garden rake better than I play my best overtone tuned kalimba. For my excuse and luck, Iam profesional maker not player haha.
@nadishana OK thankyou. I really should stop biting my nails nevertheless...
This is awesome!!! I want one!! :) :)
I like Chinese sound ha ha ha
That is REALLY KOOL!!!! Expensive thoe:\...But I am sure it is worth EVERY penny!!!!!!!!
Man this is Noiice 😂
cool af
fodaaa demais, muito bom
I apologies if this makes me seem daft. But I can't wrap my head around how this instrument works. o _o
!!! TOP
Aksak!
@nadishana the most i could conceive myself paying for such a device that i'd probably fail miserably at playing is 20 USD
I forgot... With eight blades!
I thought that the invention of digital music was a breakthrough. I was wrong, we invented nothing!
it is the first time i see this
China had a synth phase long long ago.
Sounds like the keyboard part of a Dream Theater song.
How fucking dope is this-
this is a tool song
or any psychedelic song of he 60s-70s :)
catchy
Ребята это инопланетный язык;)
It sounds like it would benefit from some "more chinese" tuning
and when the first bomb will fall...you and your damned synthesizer will remain without power...and the first note in the night will come from nadishana and his instruments....
Or 55,90 euros from danmoi . de
Humans are cool.
Sounds like a Tool song
Me: yoda listen!
Yoda: ok
[ jaw harp ]
Yoda: good sounds friend
HHAHAHAHA, the blub sounds in between are funny
я хочу тебя
sounds good but hearing you breath in so loudly with the saliva sounds is disturbing.
Obviously it's a white hipster playing it
This is one of the only good demos of this instrument out there. Also, people can play whatever instrument they want.
Fuck talking, I can get the same sound out of a speech synth.
I like Chinese sound ha ha ha
fuck paying all that money for that, i can get the same sound out of a synthesizer
daft punk
