Hello bkxc I would like to say I'm a 32 year old out of shape father that used to love riding bikes when I was younger and your videos have inspired me to get back onto a bike to get in shape it will be a long ride on the old mongoose mountain bike but the local lakes have trails to hit if the bike can handle it lol
Such a sweet ride. Every where you look the scenery was a amazing. Keep it up Brian look forward to your vids to help give me the luttle extra motivation to get out on the trails.
Very happy to see you are living the dream, hope you make it to Panguitch one day and ride Thunder Mountain Trail, it's fast , and the view is amazing, you must put it on your bucket list.
Luv your vids. For us spec geeks (LOL) it'd be nice to have a quick bike check for one or two of your riders when you do a group ride, or just a quick scan of all the bikes.
Yeah, I'm sorry dude, I know you guys like that, I'm just not as into it as much. Feels like the same thing over and over unless it's something new and different.
Man I really dig the orange jersey! "Got to get one now". For your next shirt you need to do green and black with some yellow trim and make it a long sleeve to, it can get cold here on the east side during the winter months. Ask Seth, he should know by now. lol
Orange jersey was just for the people on the trip, but I will probably do something very similar for the next public jersey! Haha, I'm sure Seth is gonna get a little chilly here soon!
Moab...definitely on the bucket list. So nice this time of year. Brian, did the Bronson eat your favorite shoes or what? Its sitting at home al alone, crying silently. Extra silent because you had all that work done up front. Awesome vid man!
Man, that bike is really quiet... I thought you had silent hubs until you adjusted the brakes. Pretty sweet. I love Moab... gotta get out there again some day. It’s been since 1999. :(
A little help for disc brake! wheels on the bike, Open caliper screws, (Do not pull the brake lever) remove the caliper from the adapter, remove the brake pads from the caliper push the piston back into place Push back the brake pads put the brake caliper back on the frame set the brake disc center Screw the screws back tightly pull it so tight that it does not move if you brake Brake a couple of times so that the pistons are in place check that the brake disc is in the middle (if there is an eight in it, you should dilute it) if the brake disc runs through the center, you can screw the screws fully it will work now! :) No sounds are singing... :D It helps? :O
Those turbine taint slappers need some adjusting to make them nut friendly. Mine was dangerous until i met someone who showed me how to adjust it. MUCH better now.
I was supposed to go on my first trip to Moab this October with my crew, but work wouldn't let me go. Friends went and took my truck! Boo hoo hoo hoo! Enjoy watching your videos though, next best thing to going!
Grate Trail there Brian if i was wee bits Closer i would love to join the Group there and the Food looks Nice again I am hungry now watch the nice food your all have Grate Video ;0)
Always love watching Moab videos. There are so many trails and I can never decide what to ride. What is the range of rider skill level for the group and guided rides that you do?
Moab rules! The skill range was decently wide, but fitness is really what matters most. We put these trips out about 5 or 6 months ahead of time and Steve implores people to get fit and be ready. Fitness trumps skill.
BKXC Totally agree on fitness. If you're coming from sea level, prepare to suffer on the climbs if you haven't done any structured training. Just riding a lot to prepare won't cut it!
Hi Brian, going to ride Moab for my first time this coming May. I am planning on riding Navajo Rocks our first day there, could you please tell me what route you took? …it looks like it’s a handful of trails linked together, just trying to figure out what is the best way to link these together. Thanks, JT64
Rebound, air volume and air pressure all account for that poppy feeling. That and the monarch is a crap shock lol pop isn't everything though. I prefer a lack of pop which is handy given I run a coil. Full fat isn't a reference to the fat content and it isn't just England but the UK. It comes from the different milks: skimmed; semi-skimmed; and full fat (which is a reference to the fat)
BKXC spend a bit of time with the tuning. For the low speed rebound adjust on the monarch, ride off a curb slowly and watch the suspension compression. You want it to compress, rebound then compress to sag point. Adjust the rebound to that then hit the trail and you may have to adjust it one click either side.
Good morning Mr. Kennedy. As usual, seeing you posted a video has interrupted my work, because BKXC! So here we go. 0:05 - I had no idea that these trips had happened a month ago. I was under the impression that you were only a week out from your trips. These videos certainly aren't easy to get up real quick. I've been watching another UA-camr named Casey Neistat (not MTB related). He gets his stuff up almost the same day he records it. I have no idea how he manages his editing so quickly. 2:38 - Might as well get the mechanicals out of the way, right? I'm reminded of the quote from the movie Apollo 13, when Tom Hanks' character says "I think we just had our glitch for the mission." (or something like that) as his rocket is blasting into space. 8:34 - Hey hey HEY! Get away from that ledge! You're raising the sphincter factor to uncomfortable levels! 😨 😂 8:50 - Did you not hear me? Sheesh! Just kidding. I'd probably roll up to the edge, too. Haha. 10:21 - I was just thinking, it must be a full-time job for someone to go out and make sure the trails are properly marked. I'm sure those paint spots wear away over time. 12:40 - Perhaps "full fat" is a reference to the fact that sugared sodas can lead to people getting fat (it does for me)? Sugar is a simple carb, which the body uses for fuel, leaving the complex carbs to be stored as fat. I don't know, I'm just speculating. Alright! Another bike trip to look forward to. This is going to be fun. Also enjoyed tuning in to your live broadcast last night. Sorry I couldn't stick around for the whole thing, but that's how it goes. I'm also glad you're having such a great time with all of this right now, Brian. Until next time, stay upright and keep the rubber side down. #bkxc #mtblife -Brian
Probably a silly question, when you loosened your brakes you did also pull the brake level and hold it in while tightening the brakes again right? As for the ride, damn it looks like so much fun, can't wait to do those trails myself.
I keep trying to talk my friends into going to Moab. They keep using some lame excuse about work. Time for new friends.
Hahaha, you woulda had 15 friends if you came with me!!
Just go by yourself like I do. You will find riding partners over there.
how can i join a group !?
u have the kind of life i want. i do have a career but it's not mountain biking. mountain biking is one of my best things in my life. MTB IS HAPPINESS
MTB is happiness, I like that!
Mag 7 to Portal is one of my most favorite rides as well, did it in the heat when I was back and passing through Utah!
I've gotta do it!!
Thanks Brian, I've been out of town so now I get to do my favorite thing and play catch up on all your videos. Moab looks amazing. Thanks again.
Awesome, glad to have you back!
Go get it dude!! One step at a time.
Moab is the best. The footage is always prime. Keep up the fire work my friend
Thanks Nate!!
Such a sweet ride. Every where you look the scenery was a amazing. Keep it up Brian look forward to your vids to help give me the luttle extra motivation to get out on the trails.
Thanks so much Joaquin! Love hearing they give you the motivation to get out and go!
Very happy to see you are living the dream, hope you make it to Panguitch one day and ride Thunder Mountain Trail, it's fast , and the view is amazing, you must put it on your bucket list.

Nice, glad you're digging this style Kent!
This is so on my hope-to-do list for 2018! I just need a couple of things to go my way and I'll be riding with you next year.
"That would never happen on a reverb!" Ill ask the STS about that one! Love the video brotha. Keep that content coming, we will keep watching!
Hahaha, thanks dude!
Hi Brian another great video... I’m really hoping to get to Moab in the next year or so to do a chasing epic tour with some friends..
I hope you do!!
Such a beautiful place! The heights would scare the crap out of me.
Haha they are scary but it's a very cool type of scary (for me)!
This reminds me of last summer. Dry ground... Over here in Denmark, it's muddy as all hell on my favorite trail :/
Nice! Yeah, the winter is always a rough one!
Man I will have to ride there someday, outstandingly scenic and gnarly
It's damn good!!
Great place to visit and ride. Been there once, 5 day trip - special place.
It really is a special place!
New pedals!! Cannot believe I thought those battered XC were your lucky charm :P
That looks great. I definitely need to visit the US!
Hahaha, brand spanking new! Hit me up when you make it here Bruno!
BKXC :) sure. won’t be until 2019 but you never know...you never know!
when I ever manage to get to Moab, 1st thing I'll do is painting some stripes leading towards that canyon and grab all of those bikes down there^^
Hahah!
Great video Brian 👍 loving this new trip already 👍 oh and the bike 👌👌
Glad you liked it !
Nice again Brian. Looks like you have got your confidence back after Spain
3:18 "just launched the seat up into my nuts!!" Semi auto dropper..😂😂😂😂 thanks for that
Haha hurtful!
Ahhh always hyped for the new vids
Yee haw!
Remember in your live feed about your bike shop i mentioned i had two feedback stands, now you know why I raved about it.
HAha yep!
Moab...definitely on the bucket list. So nice this time of year. Brian, did the Bronson eat your favorite shoes or what? Its sitting at home al alone, crying silently. Extra silent because you had all that work done up front. Awesome vid man!
Hahaha, just less damage I'm doing to it!! Thanks guy
You guys need to try the" sphincter blow trail "out there,Just dont sit down on that ride.
Man, that bike is really quiet... I thought you had silent hubs until you adjusted the brakes. Pretty sweet.
I love Moab... gotta get out there again some day. It’s been since 1999. :(
Yeah, you need to get back there, it's a friggin' gem!
Yes! That is some great stuff right there!
Thanks Shad!
Your videos always motivate me to go ride. Thanks
Love hearing that!!
Kinda like that your riding different bikes lately, variety is the spice of life. Give the old Santa Cruz a rest.👍🏻👍🏻
Definitely! Thanks Jon
Can never wait for the next vid
Haha I guess I'm doing something right!
A little help for disc brake!
wheels on the bike,
Open caliper screws, (Do not pull the brake lever)
remove the caliper from the adapter,
remove the brake pads from the caliper
push the piston back into place
Push back the brake pads
put the brake caliper back on the frame
set the brake disc center
Screw the screws back tightly
pull it so tight that it does not move if you brake
Brake a couple of times so that the pistons are in place
check that the brake disc is in the middle
(if there is an eight in it, you should dilute it)
if the brake disc runs through the center, you can screw the screws fully
it will work now! :)
No sounds are singing... :D
It helps? :O
Definitely a good approach! Thanks!
Those jerseys match my new bike 😏
May have to cop one 😂
This was exclusivo to the trip! But I think my next jersey will be orange!
I would want one as well they are beautiful!
BKXC Also count me in for an orange jersey! This one looked sick, and I’ve specifically been wanting an orange one lol
Brain i agree with you the perfect warm up trail for everyome to get ready for the crazy shit.
Thanks Peter!
Those turbine taint slappers need some adjusting to make them nut friendly. Mine was dangerous until i met someone who showed me how to adjust it. MUCH better now.
Hahaha, just made my donation at the sperm bank before riding!
3:18 .. LOL... "Just launched my seat into my nuts!" (That dropper post is called the "Nut Cracker"...

Thanks for the info. I ride daily at 6,000' elevation and it's good to know that it takes more before embarrassing myself.
Love that jersey!
Thanks man, I think it's pretty cool too!
best quote: “Beer obviously”
Damn crazy life, dude. Orange jersey looks badass. Fucking hell, one day I will ride Moab, looks incredible

Hey dude. Great job as always! What pedals are you using now?
2:50 what did he say those rims were that can break and still run straight, nine nine super fan?
Yep that's what I heard
That suspension is sure noisy. Almost sounds dry. Definitely looking forward to seeing Moab for myself
I hope you make it there!
If you have time hit up Pasta Jays on main street. Super good Italian place, maybe a bit pricey but definitely worth it. #notanad
Yeah I've been, the meatballs are great!
BKXC LOL
you been to "Fiesta Mexicana" with their dish "Melcajete"
Maybe next time.. i love Moab.
It's so damn good!
BKXC ok well I'm interested for the next one.
Hi Brian, going to ride Moab for my first time this coming May.

Dang, I did not have my Strava on for this one and I don't remember. But I'm SURE the local bike shops will give you a good route at Navajo.
Nice buddy!
Thanks dude!

I've gotta figure out my perfect level of pop! Ahh, interesting with the full fat

Haha get away from the ledge!! Glad you enjoyed the live stream, always good to see you pop in!
I didn't get query when you rolled up to the cliff until I heard you unclip from your pedals. That sent me over the edge.
Probably a silly question, when you loosened your brakes you did also pull the brake level and hold it in while tightening the brakes again right?
As for the ride, damn it looks like so much fun, can't wait to do those trails myself.
Yep, yep on the brakes. It's a great place to ride, hope you make it!
When you are on rides do you record the whole ride or just the down hills and the parts that will be in a video?
I record a LOT, but not everything
BKXC thanks for the advice
Great!
😁👍
Thats high ☺👍
Haha yep!
Trying to figure out that ride. Was it Ramblin’ plus Rocky Tops?
Yep, pretty much!
I'm going to Moab Utah this May for the first time. Any recommendations on where to rent bikes and trails?
Check out Rim Tours!
