I have the magnify nitro 2 and done almost 200 miles in the shoe and absolutely love it such a good daily. It's so good I've purchased a second pair which was on sale
How is the stability of the Magnify Nitro 2 ? Comparable to the stability of a Vomero 17, Gel-Nimbus 26 , On Cloud Eclipse or a NB 1080 v13 ( a little wobbly in the heel but I don't overpronate on them ) ?
I have the Magnify 2 and really like them. I use them for basically every non-fast stuff I do, but I even used them once for a 3x5x50m session on the track (didn't trust my Steakfly's grip for acceleration in the wet) and they felt actually quite good, so you can run reasonably quick in them.
Have been running in the Velocity N3 for a few weeks now and love it. Really versatile and just a great every day shoe. The structure of the tongue is the only thing I am not super fond of as I find it just too thin and a bit strange in terms of shape. First PUMA shoe after many Mizunos, Sauconys and ASICS’. Really impressed!
The velocity 2 was may daily trainer and I bought the magnify 2 for long and recovery runs. However, the magnify is extremely comfortable and surprising versatile. I find myself lacing up the magnify almost every run, including tempo sessions. It’s not as quick as the velocity but it’s marginal. I’m 13st/83kg and have a heavy running style, so perhaps this is why the higher stack is better for me as the foam doesn’t compress as much.
Puma are making great shoes and I've got the magnify 2 and velocity 2 I'd say the midsole cushioning improves after 10 to 12 miles, I have quite wide feet and I'd agree that the magnify shoes are a little wider I found the velocity fit improved again after about 12 miles.
Which one of these would you say are most close to the Deviate Nitro 2 in terms of fit? I’m looking for a pair of shoes to use on the treadmill and/or at the gym.
Agree, I have the Deviate Nitro 2 and Velocity Nitro 2 (but have tried the V3) and would say the two are very similar in fit and width. I have the magnify 3s on order now too :) @@bambaklats2891 @andreasclair3454
Is the Magnify Nitro 2 as stable as a Gel-Nimbus 26 or a Nike Invincible 3 ? Those new guilded neutral strike shoes are becoming super stable that, for me, is "killing " the need of buying stability shoes . I hope that this huge stack of Nitro foam don't collapse inwards like the old Asics Nova Blast 1 . Thanks .
I've got the magnify 2 and I had the nimbus 1 and they are night and day different. Towards the end of my long runs the rear of the nimbus would roll inwards where I was fatigued and losing form. Whereas the puma is rigid from start to finish. The nimbus is definitely a more springy shoe though.
hi is it interesting to get the magnify for long run and velocity for tempo runs? I have the nova blast 4 and I don't like them too much midsole , too much everything
Velocity can feel flat for a heavy runner. At least it did for me. Magnify 2 turned out to be a much better shoe. Guess it really depends on weight. I am 90 kg.

I also grabbed the Magnify 2's & love them
@JDeezle21 there brilliant I'm also using the puma devaite nitro 2's as well which are also amazing and in the sales at the mo

@MiracleWarriors I've not tried any of the others but I've never had any stability issues with them tho
What's the difference between them? I find the DN2 too flat and firm. @@kye455

Thanks for emphasising the narrow fit of the velocity - very useful to have insights into width as well as length in the fit segment
I own both and they are FANTASTIC!! ;D I guess will stay with the brand for a long time.
Magnify is wide foot friendly, how is the fit of the velocity?
narrow and very snug. After some KM (50) is softer and you can feel more ground. @@paullooper1090

I have the magnify Nitro 2 and they are very fun to run in, nicely cushioned! Great for a long run and recovery!

This might be a weird comparison to want to see, but I'd love to see the Saucony Axon 3 vs the Puma Velocity Nitro 3.
Both superb shoes & exceptional value for money imho.
Wanted to get a pair of Magnify 2 during the holiday sales. But Puma Canada didn't even have the men's version!
I would consider either pair, if it wasn't for the 10 mm heel drop, which seems rather aggressive for a daily trainer.
There is almost no rocker...so I'd say they don't feel like 10mm (I have the mag2)

I can't compare it to the Nimbus or Invincibles but I never had any instability issues with my Magnify

Are both shoes stable?
Looking a none carbon shoe.
Was looking at the Velocity or the NB Rebel, any suggestions.
I have V2 and Rebel 3. Rebel is noticeably lighter and easier to push pace in. Velocity for easy or longer runs.
Can anyone compare Magnify Nitro 2 and Saucony Triumph 20/21?
Check for the test, where on the channel...
wouw...An Alladin Shoes, it is not good for my toes, i had buy and used it, after 6 months, i had paints on my toes, just because the shape narrow.
Pyooma
I Hate the Magnify, too bulky for me
