The entire table tunneled him the whole game. If thats how the table wants to play, but they claim this game is supposed to be fun and being in a permanent 3v1 is never fun..
It did seem a bit much but he did have 2 insane value engines on board. There is also something that just feels good about killing a player who is trying to sit behind a propaganda AND Ghostly prison.
CGB did get a little bullied, but so often when he doesn’t, and especially in this kind of game with that kind of deck, he’s able to completely take control later on. I think it was the objectively correct choice, and it allowed for a really good, close game between the remaining three players. This is one of my favorite games I’ve seen in a while. P.S. I was absolutely waiting for that inkshield, and was so happy when it came out
Probably the best commander game I’ve seen. That was amazing. That Bunbleflower deck was played perfectly. Group hug is such a complex strategy and knowing where to ally can be tricky. Shea with the tricks while all game being so silent *chefs kiss* Like a true queen
I just love how appropriate it is that there's a turn after turn fight over "propaganda". Talk about fitting! This would be such a fun pod for my Vazi deck.
The Bumbleflower player spending a large amount of effort to take out a player, including Cyclonic Rift, for so little in return, seemed like a mistake to me…looks like that was correct.
Wear and tear will have cmc 3 anywhere other than the stack for tutoring purposes but when it is casted one mode is chosen and the cmc it updated to the cmc of the chosen mode, same thing applies for rooms, very fun ruling
The people who are in the comments complaining that CGB got "bullied" are the exact players who lack threat assessment of any kind. The pillowfort player with a massive value engine and passive incremental damage to everyone else can't be left alone. Just because his boardstate isn't massive does not mean he isn't a threat. His handsize was double that of everyone else's despite never receiving any Bumbleflower draws while everyone else received multiple. He also had free counterspells and enough mana on board that the moment he drew his Time Sieve, he had infinite turns to kill the table. You cannot allow someone who is running a massive value + combo commander to just sit back and accumulate pieces unhampered. Tivit is that commander. It's also CGB who is an excellent pilot and knows how to make deals to weasel his way out of things. Anyone who has watched this channel should know that. Does it suck for CGB that he got targeted down by the others? I'm sure. Was that the correct play? Absolutely. Don't bring a powerful combo deck that can win out of nowhere, and try to sit behind a pillowfort if you don't want to be accurately dealt with. I swear, it's a miracle half the commenters can even follow along when they're that unaware of how the game works.
I almost never post comments but this game was just so annoying to watch them just bully a player to death the first half of the game. Honestly good on CQB for holding his composure for the video cause I would have been pissed.
That must have felt bad for CGB, but it was good threat assessment from the other players. Hiding behind Propaganda and Ghostly Prison with two copies of Talion in play would have won him the game after a while. They were right to remove him asap. Pressuring the player developing value engines is usually correct.
@@florinalinmarginean1135 the thing was the left Shea almost completely untouched as she just kept building a board state. I didn't actually finish the video bit wouldn't be surprised if she won
Yeah this is why I don’t like it when Blake isn’t on the show. CGB did not deserve this much bullying regardless of how previous games went. Especially when Brent is just being unreasonably obnoxious.
I love watching you guys, and I know CGB has pulled incredible victories out of nowhere, but watching the relentless targeting of CGB, no matter what anyone elses life and board was, and disregarding deals and concessions he made was a hard watch. Didn't have the spirit I typically expect in a commander game. Still love you guys and these games though!
And this is why I don't have any politics decks lol. So salty and long and everyone is just like please God let it end. Targeting CGB is unfortunately what happens when he's pulled out enough wins from nowhere with 1 life. Especially if he gets Time Sieve in this game.
The absolute lack of threat assessment and straight up bullying of CGB in this Episode was more than a little of a put off. Taking out 1 opponent, regardless of that person, halfway through the game is just not fun
having to pay 4 mana to attack with a creature and lose 2+ life to play a card also isnt fun. and you think the other 3 are just gonna sit there and let him become more and more untouchable with each turn while they chip away at each other for no value? focusing on cgb and taking him out first was the right call since he was the biggest threat at that time.
Ugh. I really dislike when everyone targets CGB until he dies first when there are better options for the game. I don’t think it’s funny or entertaining at all.
These types of games aren't fun or entertaining. It is painful to see one player targeted like this. Everyone at that table should feel ashamed of themselves. I definitely won't be watching anymore episodes with Brent in it.
@@Jabree he was the biggest threat that would have killed everybody else without ever attacking if they let him live. if you dont want him to be targeted then tell him to not put a target on his head by playing floodgates.

Cbg really disappointing deck time Sieve talion close enough to cedh you're the guy at lgs no timetwister so it's ok. I expect better than cheap combos
Idk Talion is quite strong but I don't think it being in the deck drives it immediately into cEDH. Putting the second one down was just asking to get hard targeted though.
@@conker1847 I mean you're replying to a salty Sally I don't think they're using any rationality in saying a deck that they've seen like 10 cards of is cEDH lol
Theres always a CGB in the pod that’s traumatized everyone 😂
Feels like CGB had a bigger target on his head than usual this episode lol.
I mean he does become a problem every game. They just are traumatized by him now.

The problem was that he could just sit there and do nothing and still win with his board state
@@Deerclipper You also saw it in the mood, the table was after the game not that much fun anymore because the 3vs1 without a good reason.

CGB this is payback for your 45 mins turn with artifacts.
Perfect timing, I've been literally brewing on a Queen Marchesa AND a voting focused Tivit deck!!
Bens costumes are why I fell in love with this show. First ep I watched was the Lotr ep where he was a tree. Fastest sub ever. Never change Ben.
Lovely seeing a Brothers of Metal shirt, great band
I just love how appropriate it is that there's a turn after turn fight over "propaganda". Talk about fitting! This would be such a fun pod for my Vazi deck.
When Mr. Editor died he shouldn't have been able to block at all because Ben went to combat with the monarch.
Ben at 3:10, absolutely savage 😂
The Bumbleflower player spending a large amount of effort to take out a player, including Cyclonic Rift, for so little in return, seemed like a mistake to me…looks like that was correct.
Yeah, if your Cyclonic Rift removes a player for two mana and prevents them from untapping with a billion cards in hand, it was probably worth it
I'm pretty sure CGB died a on Ben's attack when he went to 5 life. He had already taken 24 commander damage at that point.
This crew is amazing! Somebody misses an episode and his/her replacement is integrated to the crew as water, really cool group

Rofl, I loved the exchanges when Shae and Ben battled it out, fun as hell. The Inkshield was very telegraphed but still fun as hell. Awesome game.

"Oh No, I'm Super Flooded"
Finally, the crew takes out the number 1 threat at the table first 😂
Do the auto inklings get around propaganda/ghostly prison?
Man if Ben had only saved his counterspell for cgb’s 2 propagandas
Best moment is Ben's comment in the first 4 minutes 😂
“I can’t speak a Talion”
“That’s why said third best”
3v1 is hilariously political and on flavor for the episode
I will now be singing “This Land is You Land” when I resolve a Tempt with Discovery or Verdant Mastery.
Great show guys.
It would be super cool to do some of the themes commander clash has done; first decks, doing off color burn /other archetypal stuff outside it's color
ah, ben you forgot the unblockable part of your commander.
Brothers of metal T-shirt!! Hell yeah!!!!
Brent built his own Prophet of Kruphix
Even better he can flash in anything not just creatures.
the Tivit player always dies first, i don't make the rules
I had no idea you guys were in Michigan too, can’t say I blame Blake for getting out of here for a bit

Who’s the worst in in worst possible
I have to think cgb had a combo in hand!
Go Brothers of Metal!!!
But CGB, did you shuffle? Because I did not see!
Political themed decks and no Zedruu? It was one of the first commanders and its deck was named "POLITICAL puppets"
Shea's charm is always working for me.
Somewhat surprise Galadriel, Elven-Queen Commander wasn’t included in this politics game
This was a fun episode
Brothers of Metal FTW
Ben looks so handsome in that getup!!
