This is definitely an issue with lighter/cheaper jackets. I'd had this for a few months and not had any issues, but I'm aware that's a relatively short space of time (even if it had good use throughout that timeframe). Worth sending feedback to Harrier though - it's good to let brands know and they seem like a brand who cares about the product.
@@ukclimbingofficial I did feedback, Others have had the same issue. They haven't made any changes. Offered me 10% off another though, Which I declined!
@@Ultrarunnerdad One of the pitfalls of what we do is that we often look at products intensely over a period of 3 months use. We'd love to do more, but there tends to be other products requiring our attention after that. There are exceptions though and these are, more often than not, the products we've really rated. The Montane Spine Jacket is a good example of this. I reckon I've used it more than any other over the last year and a half, including doing the Cheviot Goat and Spine Challenger South (and possibly a load of other stuff I've completely forgotten about). Can't recommend that jacket enough!!
Great review. I’ve bought one for trail running and so far very impressed
Wait until the lining fails! Mine only lasted 15 months. 🤬
