Toto presents "With A Little Help From My Friends".
The performance captures one special night on November 21, 2020 when Steve Lukather, Joseph Williams and David Paich appeared with the new line-up of TOTO for a global event originating from Los Angeles, CA. Joining Lukather, Williams and Paich for this next chapter in their indelible history are new band members bassist John Pierce (Huey Lewis and The News), drummer Robert “Sput” Searight (Ghost-Note / Snarky Puppy), and keyboardist / background vocalist Steve Maggiora (Robert Jon & The Wreck). Keyboardist Dominique “Xavier” Taplin (Prince, Ghost-Note) and multi-instrumentalist / vocalist Warren Ham (Ringo Starr) segued over continuing their tenure in the ensemble. This marks the fifteenth incarnation of the TOTO line-up in consideration of band members or sidemen who joined or exited.

same voice? NOT! Steve has admitted his vocal range and quality isn't close to his best days. "Father Time is undefeated." There's definitely some autotune on this performance.
The original Toto may be gone but Luke’s spirit and incredible talent keeps the soul of the band alive.

As long as Steve is there, he’s the heart of Toto after all, so i just sit back and enjoy their music!
Others can argue whether this is Toto or not. I’ll just sit and enjoy the awesomeness. You cannot deny this was KILLER. Possibly my favourite TOTO song. I got emotional during the solo. Ha! Christopher Cross called Luke “The greatest of all time”, and I just never get enough of people saying it. ❤️❤️

If Luke and Paich are involved, they are TOTO to me.... and both of them are still involved. Also, if it’s awesome... it’s awesome. Can’t argue with the truth when one can witness the cold evidence thru this video (and many others).

I saw Toto in Detroit on the Kingdom of Desire tour. I think they only played 8 or 10 dates in the U.S. on that tour. But that was when Simon Phillips had the tall task of replacing Jeff Porcaro. Luke blew us all away that night on this song. Kingdom of Desire was really one of Toto's very best albums, and that's saying a lot.
Already feel like a kid at Christmas seeing these releases...anything Toto is wonderful. But this is one of my favorites. Would LOVE to hear "How Many Times," "Never Enough," "Drag Him to the Roof" & "Wings of Time" as well.

Really loved this album when it came out as it was harder edged Toto. A reminder that band members may come and go, but if Luke is involved, it will always be the sound of Toto.
Kingdom Of Desire is my favorite Toto album. I saw them in concert again a month ago and was glad this was part of the set.
As long as Luke is playing it is Toto. What a genius player . Always stunning live and the records (CD's Spotify et all) speak (Sound for themselves). A fan since the first album and long may some version continue. Kudos to Joe Williams too, great singer still has the range that deserts many .xxxx
Pay close attention. Luke's heart not in it.killer musicians absolutely. Is the feel right, are they the right fit ? Yes I know there is no audience and it's for a video or whatever. Luke going through the motions. Not the best toto vid. There are many great clips though !!!

I'm older than TOTO has been around and when I first saw them in the San Fernando Valley when I was young I was hooked. Today I'm 67, still hooked and of course they are my favorite band. Saw them last year in Phoenix and they were fantastic as always!

What amazing singing from most of the band during the chorus. Musicianship shows up in how the guys play together, but that has always been a trademark of Toto regardless of lineup.

Heavily slept on album, one of my fave Toto albums. More a Luke solo album than anything, but my word are there some bangers. Especially and including this ditty. Love this version.
I think this is actually my favorite TOTO song! More edgy and a little less POLISHED… Love all the hits too… Just saying I wish they did more like this!
