Honestly one thing I do on my laptop is turn off automatic sleep and manually sleep it when it is not doing anything by closing the lid or hitting the power button once that way if it is updating or something and I leave the room to do something else while I wait It dosnt go to sleep and interrupt the update and find out it did nothing the whole time

dont its not that good all it did was made my device have issues and delays and it also has old optimizations from the old hone ctrl noting new

I've tried this before and this actually works🎉
What I think is that the tweaks optimize your PC properly you always have to optimize your pc and the fps doesn't always get better mostly it's the internet and the delay that they get better but the fps too but only 20 to 30%

Is there anyway to change what the power buttons do with the Hone Power Plan? I want to make it so when I close my laptop lid, it goes to sleep. But when I change it, it always reverts back to "Do Nothing." Any solutions?
you should do one on Expedite, they have 200 more optimizations than Hone

if you want good fps in minecraft 1.20.1 these are the mods you should use
fabric mod loader
vulkan mod
fabric api
starlight
lithium
entityculling
mod menu
ferrite core
krypton
lazydfu
more culling
alternate current
Optional Quality of life mods (these should not make the fps that much worse)
cordinates-display
fabric language kotlin
logical zoom
lamddynamiclights

cloth config
no chat reports

essential mod has a built in zoom, and is really nice to have overall

Ok, so i got from around 100 fps dippng 80 like peaking 130 ish now with hone wow stable 150 and 210 peak (im on a i3 11 gen and integrated graphics so this is huge for me)

I have I laptop but all the best Windows settings and optimisation that I have done my FPS is then still at 200 and not more pls help
I'm hopeless, so I'm asking in this comment section for help. My problem is that I have to start every game in compatibility Mode for win 8 if I want to be in exclusive full screen, or else my taskbar and background is flickering over the game every time I press a mouse button. In most games I just go the extra step and put it in compatibility mode, but that does not work for minecraft since it's not an EXE file. Any help is appreciated. I literally did everything I could find on Google and even asked on Reddit
I would just reinstall Windows at this point because your Windows seems to be cursed. Just clean reinstall and you will thank yourself for it. It's better to solve the problem now and forget about it or continue dealing with the problem everytime.

Hey notrodan. I've been using hone for 2 years. When is Notro client coming out. I was waiting for labymod4, but they removed the cracked feature. You're my last hope
notro pls help in any way u can :) my xbox gamebar to stopped working after i enabled all tweaks .and also the app did something to my timer resolution .idk what to do .. my xbox services have stopped running too . i reverted the tweaks but it still has the problem
the revert tweaks button does nothing as far as i know
now my cpu runs at 100% usage on idle too and my fps r more worse than before from 400-450 to 260-340
What about the ping do u get good internet
read the optimizations before you use them. one of them puts 100 percent on idle because if it shows it live then it can usually get rid of like 10-15 fps.

There's a bug with MSI mode I think you gotta reinstall every thing

actually i need only 144 fps for comfort playing (my monitor is 144fps)

for me personally, it doesn't work for me maybe it's because I use a laptop to game/study
but every time I use this thing my laptop would having so much fps drops (even tho when I use it I got more fps than I would)
and it's also not consistent at all with both of the fps and internet (this isn't a hate comment about hone or anything but it doesn't work for me)
Edit: I've been using it for 2 weeks now so I can say that it's not working for me
I dont get lag like this with my 1060
include the cpu too, and the bloat, and the ram, and the apps, and the storage. theres so many factors.

I tried this app. At first it was all fine giving me like 39 more fps until I tried reverting stuff because for some reason I started getting 90 fps less than I normally get the revert button didn't work and it is permanently stuck I made a restore point in the app but it also didn't work. I'm not sure why this happened but I'm currently still trying to restore my PC back to how it was before...
Edit - I got my old backup back now instead of 130 fps I get 300 fps I was lucky I set a backup..
( I wouldn't recommend this app bec the revert buttons don't work and it's risky to use tho it could just be me )

Also if u want a back up I recommend not using the app because it's buggy so just create a back up the normal way by going to the search bar and typing "Create a restore point" it saved me

Using linux or freebsd instead of windows would be better than this for hardware efficiency.
ehhh depends like pop os! zorin or ubuntu aren't that much better for performance than optimized windows 10/11 due to system d and gnome not being that easy to run now days there are distros like Artix or Void linux but I don't know if i would recommend ether one to new Linux users
