In any case, she was elected because she was AMLO's party candidate and AMLO had done such an amazing job...Now the reason she was picked as candidate instead of Marcelo Ebrard (who is the guy who really deserved the position and is a much more experienced and better politician and would've probaby made a better President) is simply that the opposition had chosen a woman as their candidate and the opinion prevailed that given the current globa zeitgeist, it would be very difficult for a male candidate to win against her, so they went for Claudia. Only time will tell.

So, when you have to announce to the world that you are the first female president of Mexico....kinda makes you wonder why you were voted in.
As far as politics..... She is part of the party that the ex liberal president created, to still control the country after he steps down. They have alot of financial resources and look to control all the energy industry (Same as socialism). They also believe in Immigration and assist anyone traveling through Mexico to get to the USA.
It would have made a lot more sense that she wouldn’t touch on the fact that she’s the first female president in her election victory speech, you’re right. Andres Obrador didn’t found the Morena party because of dissent with the previous major left wing party in Mexico over of their corruption, it was just so he could have authoritarian power over Mexico, you’re right again. Turning access to necessities like electricity public is actually a bad thing and makes the population lazy and entitled, we really should privatize as much as we can, maybe water and sewage treatment should be put in the hands of private entities next, that will reduce the corruption of big government. In fact, subsidizing anything that benefits the working class is socialist, we really should only be subsidizing the military and failing corporations, it’s how we keep the democratic rights for rich people to have power over poor people safe. And the Morena party didn’t give any money to the US to fund its border security, that just never happened. In fact, the Morena party loves illegally sending its work force and constituency to other countries, it just can’t do it fast enough. I hope to see more intelligent people like yourself in the future, our country needs more of them, god bless.
