Lots of starboard tacks! Trying to nail the gopro filming during a tack was difficult in a gusty lagoon ;)

Hi just starting to learn these they aren't easy for me. Did it take you long to learn? Any tips?

Hi! Everyone finds tacks difficult! It took me a good 6 months of consistent practise before starting to get them regularly. Start with “beach tacks” getting the kite and body movement dialled on the sand then take it to water. There’s a few good videos such as by Daniela Moroz. Keep trying and you will get there eventually!

Thanks just seen your reply . Are you looping the kite as you change feet? It looks like a similar action to the back roll on twin tip. 8 months on and I'm not practicing them enough but got my jibes down well now 😂
