This is by far the most real vlog I have watched. So intentional, real, honest and vulnerable. Maybe this is just where I’m at in my life too, but thank you for your content. It’s nice to see others who have slowed down and are gaining their lives back from this hectic, consuming world we live in today.

So happy to see your post today! It’s been a tough day. I love your point regarding your work and how it’s not the kind of work the world expects. Honestly I feel like that’s the problem with the world now and why it has come to be what it has. My husband is now the sole provider to our household after making the decision together that I would quit my job as a nurse and be a stay at home wife. Our kids are grown now so we are doing things a bit backwards. The hardest adjustment is that it isn’t what people expect or accept anymore. But we are happy. And ultimately that is what matters. My hope is to see the world start to fall back into these footprints and realize all the money in the world doesn’t buy happiness and that we really don’t need as much as people think to live or be happy. It’s so good to see you today😊
Living a life where God is first & others are a close second is where contentment is found. The world will consume us if we aren’t vigilant & stayed on Him. We love Him because He first loved us & it’s His love that is the fuel for a fulfilling life ❤ God bless you Margaret. Keep on 👍🏼

I was a teacher but when we decided to have children we decided together that it was best for everyone if I stayed home to be a wife, and mother and nourish their well being daily. I have always cherished that time with them. Since they are 16 months apart I stayed home for seven years until they were were in school. I had a supportive husband and he worked an extra job a few nights a week , and we had only one car so we could live this wonderful life. You have to do what you feel is best for your family. I got a teaching job later in the town we lived in so I would have the same days off and my neighbor only had to watch them for a short time till I got home. Having Summers off was a great plus too. They grow up much to quickly so slow down and enjoy every minute.
