Consecutive ruling parties have been settling illegal immigrants from neighbouring countries and migrant population from other states. Kolkata is an island of rich city among poor areas of WB, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bangladesh, Burma, Northeast states. People come to Kolkata in droves. They pay local clubs to set up slums and roadside shacks. Many are driving cabs, doing delivery services, courier, labour etc. Due to this squatting population, it is very difficult for Kolkata Municipal Corporation to do a good job. KMC itself is riddled by union and meddling of local clubs & politicians (of all hues).
It's a vicious trap.

Are you even aware of what Bangladesh is like? Have you ever even been to Dhaka? If your statement was true, Bangladesh would have been a lot dirtier than West Bengal cities. You have no clue! Kolkata is far behind Dhaka. Bangladeshis aren't "coming to Kolkata in droves". There are much better economic opportunities in Bangladesh. Indians are actually coming to Bangladesh in droves seeking jobs.

I visited Kolkata in 2017 it was my worst experience, city is very unhygienic and backward people just open the zip and urinate where ever they wish. I didn't eat anything for 2 days it was very hard surviving

You missed the point of the video bro at last I have said that I want to spred info that beside delhi the other big cities of India are getting polluted. And Rest about Howrah cleanliness, it's according to latest Swachh Survekshan 2023 report that is stating this fact.
So even if it is politically motivated, are you going to deny the fact that Howrah is dirty? Are you happy with living in the dirt? if no, do you deserve a clean city? if yes, what did you contribute to keep your city clean? Did you even question the authorities on why is your city not clean? Was there any discussion with elected body, or even a ward member on the cleanliness issue? has this issue been escalated to the upstream in the administration, was there any notice on the same? if no action, did your MLA address the issue? Did he give any solution? if not, did he raise to discuss this in the Legislative Assembly? Did Primetime media cover this? still no movement, did the media repeat the coverage with history of actions taken?
