As someone who is fan of both Cole and Kendrick I love how both of their music are somewhat of a contrast. Kendrick making turn up music meanwhile Cole making laid back music. Both of them are the pillars of this generation of rap.

Drake album fell off each year after nothing isn’t the same.
Drake, Cole & Kendrick are equally great but just in different ways. Cole is the most relatable out of the three for me. He gives you flows and bars that make you think and then rethink some things. Drake's consistency is unequalled. He's having a once in a generation type run. And Kendrick's alien flow is so cosmic he's really in a class of his own.

The reason people love cole so much is that he says some real shit but you can pretty much get all his bars on the first listen. I still think dot has a better pen, his bars are out of this world much like Eminem their bars go over so many heads. And drake just drops hits after hits so you gotta respect that
In my opinion cole is the best ever. He has everything from deep content, to crazy rhyme schemes, flows, punchlines and double/triple entendres, replay-ability, classic albums, versatility, influence, slick talk, and he can make catchy hits too. Ain't nobody ever as good at everything as him.

For my taste in music J. Cole will forever be on top. Drake is commercial asf and that’s cool, but not me. Kendrick is a pillar to the rap industry but J. Cole was far more consistent. When Cole drops music it is music that it’s already considered classic. However, with these other artists we need more and more and more hits almost like a high. But I can listen to Coles new and old music and i will forever have a different frequency. He’s the best. Undisputed.

But J cole has been relaxed back and he is an artist that has so much variety in his music like Forbidden Fruit and For Whom The Bell Toms. I agree that drake can release more than Jcole at times but when cole releases it's more special then when drake releases and got everyone hyped for the cole. J. Cole pen wise lyrically is just leagues above Drake. In other categories and aspects, I can see why others might put Drake next to/or above Cole. But pen wise? No way.
