Good for you for doing your very best with your means! That’s inspiring that anyone can be a good steward of their income even low income single mothers! Wish you the best, keep up the good work, God will bless your diligence!
So glad im a new yorker. People tend to mind their business here. I raised a son on my own. No shame at all. I prefer that than take abuse from a man any day of the week.
I definitely prefer pen and paper I also prefer cash over card, like if it was reasonable to do so I would only ever pay for anything in cash. I hate card it makes me feel like I don't know how much I have even if I check my bank account every time I spend
Just found your channel. I'll be starting my budgeting/savings challenge journey here shortly! In a couple of months, hope to have moved and "start over". Kind of scary. I am a paper and pen/pencil guy. I've tried the digital, even for planners, but there is just something about the paper, maybe because I like the "ruffle" sound of flipping back and forth and such. (lol) I've been using the Sharpie S-Gel Pens 0.7 and LOVE them. I use to have the pens you were using the video, but don't know where they went actually. I didn't care for them either. Do you have and editable file for your paycheck tracker? I've been looking online for one, but can't seem to find one and I want to be able to edit one but all I can find is PDFs. I have subscribed, and look forward to your videos!
I have a HYSA with WealthFront, that I transfer $50 into every payday. I use the savings challenges as it just helps me - personally - to save more. It’s a challenge, for myself. I’ll then put the money into my HYSA and it will begin earning interest 🙂
Is it best to pay off a credit card and reduce savings/emergency fund or to simply make high payments. I’m thinking of 4 or 5 times the minimum payment. Thank you.
I’m pen and paper .. I can’t wrap my head around multiple trips to the bank just to take money out it’s not additional money it’s the same money..,/‘so I save what I can
Once my son’s phone is paid off, I can move to another company! Once it’s paid off, it’ll only go down MAYBE, $30 🫤 but, I will definitely explore my options!
If you ever help folks figure out their budget by text or email, I would welcome your help. And, of course, I will pay you for your time. I can send you my email if you let me know how to safely do that. Great videos.

do you use the tmobile for internet? i'm thinking of switching to them this fall because spectrum continues to go up in price
May I ask what the benefit is of keeping thousands of dollars in cash in an envelope versus in say, a high yield savings account?
