It’s not cheating, but there are guys who try to twist the rules to their benefit constantly throughout the game. They try to mentally exhaust you and try to get things by you to the point you give up.
Just nearly lost turn one because my oponent was using D6+2 as a D6 and two more d6 as damage. 5 games in and i feel like ive yet to experience a game where someone isnt twisting the rules to their advantage. It feels like, Why did i buy my army? Now at least i know im just being cheated.
Ouch! It would help so much if everyone could access the rules without buying the books - at least you could check then rather than relying on opponents! Thanks for watching
From an outsiders perspective ( i play combat patrol scale games of 40K occasionally for a laugh), "competitive 40K" is adopting all the tropes and issues that WM/H had/has. And didn't you leave that game for a reason? 40K is not really designed to be a tight tactical game, the rules just has too many holes or the ability to be stretched past breaking point. 40K is a fun more narrative cinematic game. And that is 100% ok and its why so many people love it! But if you want tight tournament play that reduces the ability of a player to cheat, i think your going to end up destroying the essence of 40K. Loved the pod chaps.

Yes! Very annoying behaviour and in a way a different form of cheating/manipulation. Thanks for watching matey

Thanks for watching! Pictures can help but got to get a lot if you want to capture the incidents!

You can prob set up a cam and not even record but act like you are and streaming it! Perhaps the presence of the camera alone is enough…
Hahahaha I like this - a fake go pro strapped to your head as a safety measure! Thanks for watching matey
Forgiveness is for the weak, take their hands they'll never cheat again
You are not wrong pal 🤣
