Jackie Brown is so under rated. Easily in my top 3 of his films and by far his best soundtrack.
That soundtrack RULES! Good taste, sir. Good taste.
Absolutely. The way the mall scene goes down all the way to the end is great. The author is the same as the show Justified and then City Primeval the spinoff that melded the two books for the sake of Timothy Olyphant being the lead character.
As is True Romance - but yeah, Jackie Brown is absolutely fantastic.
Agreed and QT is right. Gets better with repeat watches.
Jackie Brown is rubbish
Laurence Tierney being Elaine's dad on Seinfeld always made me giggle
Lol
Jackie Brown DEFINITELY gets better the more you watch it. Excellent movie!!!
So funny when Jackie scares the hell out of Sam Jackson in the living room.
Excellent placement of the gimp reference LOL!!
Excellent edit🎉
Reservoir dogs is by far the best Tarantino film.
Not only is Jackie Brown my favorite QT movie of all time, it's in my top 10 FILMS of all... so far. (It'll take a LOT to knock it off my tops list.) QT is also on my favorite directors list.
yeah it's THAT good !!! Same thing with Once upon a time in Hollywood IMO
Before Reservoir Dogs came out I remember seeing an interview with Tarantino and thinking I got to see this film.
Back when Tarantino was still having to prove himself. Did it live up to your excitement? It's a staple for us!
@@JoBloOriginals exceeded expectations.
A buddy of mine and I read a review from some movie reviewer that said it was the most disgusting film he had ever seen. We immediately went out that night to see it. Turns out the only place playing it was this small art theater in Royal oak. My buddy and I were the only ones in the theater
I still remember being in the car with my dad, hearing Stuck in the Middle, and him telling me about this "great scene" with Michael Madsen dancing and cutting off a guy's ear. I had already seen Goodfellas and Pulp Fiction by that point (at age 10 or 11 lol) so we went straight to the video store to rent Reservoir Dogs after that. I was prepared for the scene, at least!
I have a prediction that Quentin Tarantino will make his last film, but will then make the jump to series Because you can tell a much better story and develop characters with the longer watch time.
And he will say something to the effect of “You all really thought I would stop creating? that would drive me fucking mad”
remember when Kevin Smith said he had 1 movie left, called "Puck You!" ?
Yeah... didn't happen
Ironically Forrest Gump features a gimp too lol
🤯🤯🤯🤯
most White House tenures as well XD
Jackie Brown + Once Upon a Time in Hollywood...
with Pulp Fiction, are in my top 3... no joke!
This my Tarantino list... and Kill Bill is close to those.
My three favorite QT movies, I like his crime movies over his historical movies that are based off a true story but of course with a QT twist.
Anybody else really loving these repackaged compilations of old videos?
I like this “3 in one” version
@@lasttime1372 Fairplay. Seems a little view-hunty to me, but maybe that's because I've seen most of em already and am never stoked to click on a video and realized it's a repackaged version of something I've seen before.

@@JoBloOriginals lol New ones. Love you guys, loyal viewer for years now, not trying to be an ass, jussayin.
@@JoBloOriginals Can you do even more obscure 80's releases that were released by major studios but have become completely forgotten, they are out there.
Pulp Fiction always be best Tarantino film.
💯
However now when you watch it and the Bruce Willis trying to save Ving Rhames, Ving would be in trouble and just take the sexual assault. 😢😮
Agreed unless we count True Romance. I love both but I give True Romance the edge.
Reservoir Dogs will always be my favorite movie by him. 😊
Mine too.
@21:345 = "Just to name a few movies you haven'T thought of in a long time!" MY top 5 :
-"Toy Soldiers" (1991) with Sean Astin. - "If looks could kill", 1990s teen-action legend !
-"Summer School" (1987), with horror pranks! - "Mission Rescue" with Matt Dillon -"God bless America" by Bobcat Goldwaith... ain'T it pertinent more than ever in the TikTok era??
Huge fan of Tarantino. I have watched all his films including Four Rooms. And my Top 5 are:
1. Reservoir Dogs
2. Pulp Fiction
3. Django
4. Jackie Brown
5. Inglourious Bastards
Once upon a time in hollywood in my top 3... wher edo U rank it ?
A checkov flamethrower is too good to be true IMO
@througtonsheirs_doctorwhol5914
Honestly, it is tough because, in my opinion, all his movies are good. But I would go:
6. Kill Bill
7. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
8. The Hateful Eight
9. Death Proof
But depending on the day, I may swap 6 and 7, jajajajaja.
What is your list?
He scrapped his upcoming movie THE MOVIE CRITIC as he didn't want to make it as his 10th and final film.
Hopefully he sells the script
If I was a betting man I’d say he’ll either turn it into his first full tv series, or make it a novel.
Source?
This narration is hilarious. Well done 😂
*Who killed Mr. White?!?
My favourite Tarantino movie. His one and only love letter to classic cinema. Very underrated.
It would be great to see Hanks in a non-hanks role, like the one Deniro played in Jackie Brown.
Hey! Mouse Hunt is great
I still call my wife hunnybunny, although we gave up heisting diners
Hey hey hey. No Wes Craven’s New Nightmare shade.
I think it'd be pretty awesome to clean a beach on a Dolph Lundgren workout video.
"LET'S GO TO WOIK!?!"
Youre forgetting his real first film entitled "My Best Friend's Birthday" or something from the late 80s.
they literally mentioned it at the start
@@uniqueflowsnake my mistake
21:44 That's a big typo unless you meant $1.8 million 🤔
There is a France/USA movie called CRiME SPREE ! With Harvey Keitel, singers Johnny Hallyday & Renaud, with the fallen depraved Gerard Depardieu... worth a watch for fans of Tarantino & Guy Ritchie "Lock Stock" type of humor. SNATCH this movie if you can : Crime Spree, "Droles De Bandits" (Funny Bandits , if they had literally translated it ;) )
Jackie Brown climaxes with its first line and falls dead trying to do something it's not equipped to do. 30:30 Adapt someone else's work? That explains so much.
First off... I'm 1,000% thankful/grateful to Tarantino being loud and proud of his ❤for female feet 👣..I first saw P.F. at like 14, yet by 11-12yrs old I already discovered my own ❤️ when Heather Locklear was on the cover of TV Guide sans shoes. So yea..thanks QT!
NOW!...my point here, if you've even read this far, is how funny it is that Tierney was a legit nut, as was said after his appearance on Seinfeld --- > Cast and crew members were very impressed with Tierney's performance, and intended to make Alton Benes a recurring character. However, they were frightened of him; during filming it was discovered that Tierney had stolen a butcher knife from the knife block in the Jerry's apartment set.
It is funny back in 2020 I ran my 10 and 13 year old through Dr Who. They feel in love with the series and we were watching it until we got to Capaldi. They both said it wasn't enjoyable to watch. While I have watched his Who and enjoyed a lot of it, definitely stopped watching with angry lady. Sad to see it fail a second time.
Once upon a time in Hollywood
Will always be best Tarantino film
Jackie brown is brilliant
Is Chris Penn the brother of Sean Penn?? Poor dude,
first as the underdog to his famous brother THEN being confused forever since with Michael Madsen,
as That guy in Reservoir Dog? Yeah but nt the one you>'re thinking of , the OTHER dude from Reservoir dogs ...
Jackie Brown is my fabourite QT movie.
SO good
My favorite as well.
Very, very underrated
Uma Thurman,..... amazing woman. Wonderful duo with her lover Ethan hawke!!
What a guy! What a dudette! She came into my lif ein The adventures of the Baron of Munchausen
as the wife of Robin Williams' king of the moon, no???
Dogs is his best film..
They were good 👍
Nothing Has Happened to Them! 😲🤔😁😂 They are Masterpeace's 👍😎👌🍁👊😎✊🍁
Remember when Ellen called him Quentin TaranTootie in her stand-up routine? Geez, she has always been super duper Lame. Except her grill marks on airplane food absolutely killed.
Elmore Leonard did the heavy lifting writing the novel Jackie Brown was based on
And it’s definitely QTs best by far
Always
Tip
Your
Waitress 😮
I'm gay.
Why?
We all have our faults.
They retired to a Caribbean Island? Stupid.
His last movie should be called "Mr. Blue"
I always thought it was a play on Reservation dogs. Go to Native reservations and there are dogs everywhere doing whatever to survive
For the fun of geekdom and you talking about a subject seen in some Tarantino movies :L makes me think of Brad Pitt's wording of "Dogs" - "Chiens" in Snatch, as a Roma boxer. The correct word is ROMA, nothing else. Not gypsy, not manouche, not romanichel, not Romani... thought they are least offensive the more you go down my list I think. But i could be misremembering the order. Think of it like Mulato : it's bad. "Mulata" the mule, and native autochtons red skin links and references in NFL football.
Weinstein got off.
He’s still serving time on another case. He’ll die in jail.
@@pamelalansbury94 He looked fairly close.
of 1.... not off of ALL crimes!
@@througtonsheirs_doctorwhol5914 I thought there was a lack of evidence.
@@iwanttocomplain retrial for one of the cases. Cancelling the previous cuz : they let p;eople not plaintiff come to the bar. Now they must only let the women in the suit speak before the jury. Retrial.
