VIRGIL ABLOH "FIGURES OF SPEECH" at BROOKLYN MUSEUM

Hi Everyone,
Virgil Abloh (1980-2021) was a creative director of Louis Vuitton and Off-White by questioning assumptions and subverting expectations. Starting from his career as an architect, he could not avoid being a fashion designer. Over the decades, he collaborated with diverse graphic and furniture designers, musicians, and contemporary artists as well. Thus, he not only influenced the conversations within them but also expanded their traditional audiences. This exhibition, "FIGURES OF SPEECH", provides us with an unprecedented survey of this artist's output over two decades.
