It amazes me that people can film a baby getting into a bad situation and just carry on filming and then laugh at the shocked infant.
Same Here. Seems to me those children are not regarded as human beings deserving dignity but as "objects" that are ridiculed and exhibited by their parents (?) instead of keeping those accidents in inner family circles - without making fun of them. Children feel this and it surely ist not the reaction they would like to experience - like comforting words and actions.

In some cases they set the kids up to be frightened or made physically uncomfortable, like creeping up on the little girl and then shouting, “Whattayadoin?” Anything, anything for likes on the internet. No wonder kids are growing up without empathy. They receive none. And the ugly, wheezy cackles of the mother, delighted at her child’s troubles. Psycho.

If you're a parent I just hope your child doesn't seriously hurt themselves because you think getting them on video is more important than helping them when they get themselves in a dangerous situation. Your lackadaisical attitude is what's really odd.
It always amazes me when parents can’t stop laughing when a baby falls or is frustrated.
Journal Bug I agree. When a baby gets hurt, or you scare them or you laugh at them when they fall, it can effect their self confidence and sefl esteem and how they feel about you as the one who is supposed to protect them and believe in them and support them and encourage them. Be kind to your children.
Oh, and this kind of thing can cause anxiety which can turn into panic disorder and later depression. Careful. They ARE amusing and it’s okay to laugh sometimes but if you are laughing at their pain, not good. Kids do get embarrassed and humiliating them is damaging.

@@ex0tic_fnaf615 That's not the point. Many kids get scalded every year by climbing on stoves. You don't want to teach the child that it's ok to do. Also, people should ensure that their stove is secured to the floor or wall. If a child opens the oven door, and climbs on it, the stove and anything on it, will fall on the child. Same thing if an adult rests something heavy on an open oven door.
@@ex0tic_fnaf615 now think: what do tots do they are curious and like to explore things. if a baby was able to crawl near the stove and turn the handles could power it and they will get burned!! they need to be supervised in the kitchen at that age until they learned safety rules...

@@macaelatice-loma1048 There is a balancing act there. When I was able to visit him, he would tell us "that's hot, don't touch" when we saw the iron solder. Then "pshhh" and a nice odor. Burnt for days. Not the kind of damage that would last, but you are with the burn for days and you know you should better listen next time. Strangely enough, all children in our family would listen when "no" and "hurt" or "dangerous" were in the same sentence.

many of these people seem to think it's more important to be videoing their kids rather than keeping them from hurting themselves in a dangerous situation ( the child climbing on the stove for example) and teaching them safety instead of being on their phones.
How I hate when grown ups laugh when something unexpected happens to a baby, or when they fall, it is not funny, she or he deserves an embrace and a kiss.
Sometimes the laughter reassures the child that they’re O.K. - and yes, hugs and kisses are good too. :)
